My son's 2nd to the last tooth (on the bottom) fell out. how can he take care of the last tooth behind it? Since there's no tooth there it sometimes bleeds when he accidentally brushes there.

My friend says that he bled in his mouth between the teeth. He claimed it was coming out in chunks, but it stopped later, and started up again. He doesn't go to the dentist much, because he's busy, and he suspects it's a cavity. Sorry for being so vague, but what do you suspect?

When she asked what tooth I was there for I said the one next to the last one. She pulled the last one. Now I am setting here with the tooth that is bothering me still in my head and a hole next to it where the tooth that was not bothering me used to live. I callled and told the receptionist what I discovered when I removed the packing from my mouth. I am waiting for a call back. What does she owe me. Does this happen often?

would a dentist remove shallow tooth decay from the groove/grinding surface of the molar without filling the teeth?

I need to have a root canal on one of my molars, but it is very expensive. Even with insurance my portion of the bill, including the actual procedure and the crown, is almost $600. Also, I don't want to take time off of work to recuperate. I've heard this procedure is painful and it can take a few days for the pain to subside. I'm in college and if their is a cheaper and less time consuming alternative, I'd rather go for that one. Since the tooth is in the back of my mouth, it will be hard for people to notice, but I don't know if this is a viable option.

I have to go to the dentist soon to get two fillings =/ Last time the dentist told me that I cant be numbed since the cavitys are on different sides. So they are going to try and fill them with no injection. Im scared it will hurt even worse then the numbing shot, has anyone had a filling without the numb? How did it go? aha
