before i got my braces, they had too remove 4 teeth..2 from top, 2 on bottom. i know that people do get teeth removed before braces, but 4?

YOUR FIRST BICUSPIDS WERE REMOVED, TO GIVE YOU ROOM FOR YOUR CASE.
IT JUST S HAPPENS THAT YOU HAVE FOUR FIRST BICUSPIDS, ONE IN EACH PART OF YOUR MOUTH.
THERE IS THE UPPER RIGHT, LOWER RIGHT, UPPER LEFT, AND LOWER LEFT. THIS IS FOUR BICUSPIDS.

That is totally normal. Nothing to worry about. Sometimes there have 8 removed. all Four wisdom teeth and 4 premolars #'s 4, 12, 21, 28 are usually the premolars removed..

Yes some need 4 to make room to straighten the remaining teeth so they all fit. My son had 2 removed.

YUP.....i had 4 taken out too.....i had lots of cotton in my mouth and was still droolin blood for a whiiiiiile.
