Yesterday the dentist said taht it was just the healing because the infection size was like quadruple the normal size. He also said that the infections was gone so my jaw hurts becasue of the healing. But this morning when i woke up it hurt really reallyr eally bad!!!! Now it's all swollen and stuff. This morning i woke up with a swollen cheek and pain in the gum on the whole of the right side of my face (bottom set of teeth only) i did have all of my wisdom teeth out but this was in May (also the wisdom tooth on the bottom right side was the most painful extraction site) I have an appointment to see the dentist tonight but i always feel like i'm wasting his time with my minor problems! I have also just had something to eat and the swelling is still there but the pain has subsided, my mum said it may be an infection-is this the case? many thanks x

I have to get my wisdom teeth pulled 4 days before vacation. Will this be bad? I'm a little nervous considering i'm only 14 1/2! Does it hurt? I'm going all the way out, and getting all 4 removed. They are all growing in crooked. I just want to know what to expect, and if i'll be ok in time for vacation! I'm also a big singer, so will this effect my singing voice at all? What do I need to expect?

How bad does it hurt? Do they give shots or put in an IV? Anything about having wisdom teeth out would be helpful, thanks!

Hi, I'm 18 now and heading off to college this fall. Today, I went to the orthodontist to see what options I have in straightening my teeth. They aren't deathly crooked or anything, they just need to be straigtened into neat little rows.

I have 1 tooth on the bottom row thats an overbite. My orthodontist says the invisalign braces are not strong enough to fix that one overbite tooth so she'll have to install one small set of brace just for that tooth (she says no one will be able to really see it though). After that tooth is set in, I can start to wear the invisalign. I know they are much more comfortable, discreet and faster than the traditional metal braces. My mom tells me the whole things will cost 6K. I was quite shocked. I thought, at most it will be 4K or a little over, but not this much. How much are regular metal braces compared with invisaligns?

Would I still need to have all dental work done such as cavities filled if I choose to get invisiline instead of regular braces?

I am wondering if any of you know anything about this and as far as the toothpaste goes, which colgate toothpaste is it exactly? I am currently using that and am wanting to make sure mine isnt the one that is on recall. I appreciate your answers.

Hi, I'm on SSDI - and I have Medicare and Wisconsin Hirsp - a high risk state program, and neither covers any dental work for me, and I've been paying for everything out of my pocket and I've spent a small fortune on dental work.

What other coverage can I get. I don't have a lot of income - but I think it will be worth it to try to get coverage. I'm in Wisconsin.

thanks

hey!

On my lower front teeth, on the in side, I have plaque build up. I tried picking it clean with the picks the dentist use, but it didn’t work. My mom said I have to do it harder... I’m kind of funny about my teeth and I can't go harder, I feel like my teeth are going to pluck out my head!!

So if any of you have any tips or anything.

I can't afford to go to the dentist right now….but I’m working on it.

I always have a white coat on my tongue and when I try to scrape it with a tongue scraper, it doesn't come off. Some come off but it's always there like it's doesn't come off all the way. There are always still remnants left. What to do?
