hey!

On my lower front teeth, on the in side, I have plaque build up. I tried picking it clean with the picks the dentist use, but it didn’t work. My mom said I have to do it harder... I’m kind of funny about my teeth and I can't go harder, I feel like my teeth are going to pluck out my head!!

So if any of you have any tips or anything.

I can't afford to go to the dentist right now….but I’m working on it.

The inside of our lower incisors tend to accumulate a lot of tartar (calculus) because that's where our sublingual salivary glands empty into our mouth through passages called Wharton's ducts.

The Calcium Bicarbonate in our saliva coming out there will cause soft plaque on the inside of our lower incisors to turn into crusty tartar VERY fast.

The only thing you can do is to make sure you have as litttle soft plaque on your teeth as possible at all times, and that means you need to brush your teeth thoroughly after every meal, floss every day, and go to regular cleanings and checkups every 6 months so the dentist or hygienist can scrape the accumulated tartar off for you.

Hope this helps.

How well do you take care of your teeth?
Brush at least twice a day, and after meals.
Try limiting drinks such as soda, juice, tea, and especially coffee.
Flossing is sooo important, yet so many people skip it. Floss EVERYDAY, it's truly important if you want healthy teeth.
If you are still having problems, you could try using a mouthwash or toothpaste specifically for plaque buildup, but I recommend seeing a dentist as soon as you can.

Check-ups at the dentist are a necessities, they should be done every six months. they will clean your teeth(including removing plaque).

If you don't do this your teeth will keep getting worse(the dentist bill will keep growing).

So go!!

After you go from then on brush 2-3x a day and floss only once(less gum irritation).

This will help keep the plaque away!

You shouldn't try to remove the plaque yourself you can cause damage to your teeth.

Good luck!

HELLO,
SOFT PLAQUE IS EASILY BRUSHED OFF. WHEN THE BRUSH KEEPS MISSING THE PLAQUE AND FLOSSING ISN'T DONE, THE SOFT PLAQUE MINERALIZES AND TURNS INTO HARD TATAR WHICH IS IMPOSSIBLE TO BRUSH AND MUST BE SCAPED OFF BY THE DENTIST/HYGIENIST.
