Yesterday the dentist said taht it was just the healing because the infection size was like quadruple the normal size. He also said that the infections was gone so my jaw hurts becasue of the healing. But this morning when i woke up it hurt really reallyr eally bad!!!! Now it's all swollen and stuff. I dont know what to do for the pain either. advil is not working.

I had a root canal done and a few months later it almost felt like the infection was back. I avoided the problem for about a year and it got worse, I could see the gum swelling and it would leak a white fluid sometimes. I just went to the dentist and they said there is an infection in the tooth, the sent me to an endodontist and they confirmed the root canel was not done correctly and the tooth now needs to come out becaues the infection is so bad. Don't put this off see an endodontist as soon as possible. This infection "can" contain bacteria that "could" get in your blood stream and make you very ill.

Good Luck !

pass to the dentist again and refuse to depart till they do some thing about it. There are situations at the same time as an infection comes again even after root canal. you do not opt to attend till the soreness receives extreme. the till now the added suitable. Or it would nicely be inflammation that you'll take Ibuprofen, even if, if the soreness starts escalating pass to the dentist.

He needs to give you antibiotcs, call him back and see if he can call you in some, and if he doesn't...go somewhere else, there is no reason you should still be hurting after a root canal. It should be ALL healed by now. Call him girl, make him give you something...at least some freakin good pain pills.

Something is wrong. I've had many root canals and they don't take months to heal. See another dentist if you aren't satisfied with what yours is telling you.
