Don't worry. It will probably go a lot faster than fillings in your back teeth. What hurts more (for me anyway) was the injection in your gum. DOn't let the pain stop you from getting your teeth fixed. a healthy mouth equals to a healthy body.

The dentist will file it down to get it as evenly shaped as possible. Then he will use a white, composite material that hardens, in order to fill the chipped gap.
If the chip is too large, it is possible you may have to have a veneer or what used to be called a 'cap' on the tooth. Either way, it is up to you-the dentist will give you a choice of options as to what would be best.
I used to be a dental assistant for many years.

It's nothing to worry about. As long as you are numb you will be fine. It's not such a long procedure, and it's not too different then the other fillings. Just try and relax and let the doctor do the work. If you have questions be sure to make him explain every step he takes. If you dont think about it, and dont' stress about it, it will be ok.
Good luck

they use a little mirror, and usually tilt you back way far, if your dentist's chair tilts back far enough, they won't need the mirror.

It only hurts more if it is very deep, or at the gum line.
