I've had terrible pains in my back teeth when I eat sweet things ... I've visited the dentist and there are not cavities what so ever... What could be the problem??

Well, I just got my wisdom teeth removed today; and basically its an all luquid diet for the next week. I was wondering if anyone had some good, luquid food in mind thats tasty? I'm up for anything really, remember no solid objects though. Recipies for soups, shakes, ect?

Here is a real answer “I think” for everyone….

Mix baking soda + Hydrogen Peroxide to make white paste.
Brush your teeth with arm & hammer , crest or the best choice for whitening teeth , ultrabrite . You can brush with those 2 combinations for awesome results or you can add more options to this mix. Example ( me )

Baking soda + Hydrogen Peroxide paste
Crest Vivid
Crest Whitening Strips

This is a very good way to get real results.

No Salt No Lemon juice or Pee (believe me I’ve heard them all)
All you need is

Baking soda $0.99
Hydrogen Peroxide $0.99
UltraBrite $0.99

If you add Crest Whitening Strips at night results will show faster.
I would recommend brushing with a good non whitening tooth paste in between so you don’t do too much damage with all that whitening.

If your mouth hurts too much from the mix use water and baking soda.

No need to pay a dentist $300+ X times? To do damage with harsh chemicals to get the same results just a bit faster, anyway your gums

talked to my oral surgeon about it, and he told me that I'd have to wait a whole week. I know that's a crock, I know plenty of people that have been able to get away with it. Although they told me that they shoved cotton in their gums too. I was also wondering about a little MJ, and when that could be possible to smoke as well. Anyways, when will I be able to safely smoke without being concerned about dry socket? I can wait a week if it's necessary, but I know plenty of people that got away with it after a few days. My surgeon has me on a lot of medication to prevent any infections as well, so I'm pretty much golden... I just wanted to ask before I ended up screwing myself over and getting dry socket.

The shots only last for about 45 minutes. The doctor is amazed. He said that it should last for 2-4 hours. I am in so much pain. And this is not the first time. It is every time.

Any ideas?

I have a front tooth chipped, and we don't exactly have the funds to go to a dentist and have it cosmetically touched up. Perhaps I'm vain, but appearance means a lot to me. I was thinking about just taking a nail file and just barely filing it down a tad. Just so the edge isn't so prominent. Here are some pictures of it so you can see what I am talking about...
(Not for the squeamish, it is pretty gross getting a close-up on a persons mouth!)

So, please tell me if it would be okay to slightly file down that edge...best answer gets 10 points!! :D
