Dental - September 2006

I have had a root canal done today on one of my top molars. I am in pain how long will this last. It is my jaw on one side that hurts.

Im getting my wisdom teeth pulled tomorrow, but i have a little cough. Its a dry cough and i only have it for an hour in the morning and an hour at night. But theres a chance it could open up the sores in my mouth when trying to heal. If i rescheduale it, it wont be until another month. What do u think?

When my husband was a boy he fell and chipped his two front teeth. His parents opted to have root canals done versus having the teeth pulled. They are dark and discolored.

Never had a private dentist b4, need to find one now, how do I find a decent one that won't rip me off and do a proper job? What are the credentilas, do I have to get an insurance etc? Thank you.

I floss once each night and brush approx 3 times / day.
I have been using extra mild toothpaste (natural brand) and rinsing with salt water. I avoid spicey food.

I have TWO teeth that need to be pulled and/or root canals, and I can't afford it! so in the meantime I've been taking amoxicillian everytime I get an infection, my teeth are SOOO pretty and white and I DO NOT want them pulled unlessI can replace them the same day..... so is it safe to take "pet" amoxicillian... I mean what can I do? My doc doesn't want to keep prescribing me the meds... he wants me to come in and get 'em pulled HELP!!

I have a 17 1/2 month old son he only has two teeth at the bottom and his two fron teeth at the top and one on both sides of his front teeth, but he just now has a back tooth coming in on the top. His front teeth are white but have a lil stain on the bottom part of both of em its kinda a brown color. I had his doctor if they was rotten but he said its the enamel in his teeth (sorry bout the spellin) that some babies jus get that. But I want to get him in to the denist so they can look at em. Is there an age limit to start goin or does a baby need so many teeth to be seen?
