I have a 17 1/2 month old son he only has two teeth at the bottom and his two fron teeth at the top and one on both sides of his front teeth, but he just now has a back tooth coming in on the top. His front teeth are white but have a lil stain on the bottom part of both of em its kinda a brown color. I had his doctor if they was rotten but he said its the enamel in his teeth (sorry bout the spellin) that some babies jus get that. But I want to get him in to the denist so they can look at em. Is there an age limit to start goin or does a baby need so many teeth to be seen?

There's no minimum age. The dentist might not get much accomplished, but he/she can probably at least look at the brown and tell you if it's stain or a bigger problem. It is very common for baby teeth to have a brown stain left over from the developmental crypt of the tooth. This won't brush off, but it cleans off relatively easily with dental instruments. If the child can tolerate it. It's not BAD at all, but a lot of kids under 2 or 3 years just do NOT want anyone messing with their teeth.

You can see the dentist as long as you have money. If you are worried about your son's teeth then go head and take him and see what they have to say. If you are giving him lots of sugar, you might want to cut down the amount of sugar you are giving him. Good luck!

It's your money, so if the baby has teeth, you can take it to the dentist.

I think you just need teeth.
