If it is a very small cavity, there is a chance it will re-mineralize, meaning the black spot will go away, if you brush it studiously (not strenuously) with fluoride-based toothpaste.
If the tooth-decay has progressed to the point that re-mineralization is no longer possible, and you dislike drilling, then you could explore alternative options such as laser treatments that burns out the cavity rather than drilling it out.

I'm afraid you have no choice but to see the dentist. Otherwise, the cavity will get bigger and you will have to see the dentist later anyway.

You need to go to the dentist and get it filled. Unfilled cavities will only get bigger, and may end up causing you to lose that tooth.
