I don't know what it will cost. Your dentist or oral surgeon should have some standard prices available and should be able to project the cost for you.
It will hurt a little, depending on which tooth it is. Uppers are usually a little harder to extract than lowers because of the root systems, but they generally heal more easily.
You can expect some bleeding, a little pain, but it will be manageable with mild painkillers. You'll feel much better in a few days, and your weekend will probably be fairly comfortable.

Depends on where you live. I got two wisdom teeth removed at University of Michigan School of Dentristy by a guy who had been a practicing dentist for 20 years but had decided to go back to school to become an oral surgeon! Dental schools will either have a graduate student (i.e., someone completing their residency) or a professor do extractions.
My two wisdoms (with novacaine and everything) was $54 and great results! If you have a university dental school near you, go - its worth it! You can ask for a teacher in most places and they will use you as a class example - it just means a few students watch the techniques. Its totally worth it, you're getting needed dental work for next to nothing and you're teaching students all about dentistry.
Tip - stick on the soft food diet they suggest for three days more then they ask you - I did that (kept on it for five days straight) and I healed faster then any patient he had ever had. I also had far less pain and swelling because of the diet (and lost a couple of pounds in the process!)

Is it just a regular tooth? Or a wisdom tooth? That would make a difference in price. Here in PA, I've heard people get a tooth pulled for $65.00 and up. Wisdom teeth cost more...like $125 and up. I've had one tooth pulled before and personally, it hurt like a ***** and bled so much that I had to keep gauze on it. Definitely get some sort of painkiller if you can afford it.

It cost's around $200.00 something like that and it doesn't hurt that much just some soreness . Gargle with salt water , they will give you instructions on what to do . Make sure you keep the area clean by squirting a syringe full of water to keep the food out of the open area. Good Luck ! : )
Ask the Dentist for a syringe or go by one it worked really well for me .

it should be around $120 plus or minus a few bucks. some include the drugs you need. some don't. so check it out! it hurts but if you can't afford the drugs, maybe an aspirin slurry wiped on the sore spot. may want a consult with the dentist. he or she should know! this is in sac ca.

Go to a free clinic or a cheap dentist. It hurts a little but sometimes they give you meds.

If you have a local dental college, give their clinic a call. It might be a lot cheaper!
