Sleep on an extra pillow to elevate your head. Sleep on the side that does NOT have a toothache. If that doesn't work, you can move to a recliner or the sofa so you can keep your head really elevated. This will minimize the blood flow to the area and therefore minimize the throbbing and pain. It might help you make it through the night along with whatever you might take for pain.

buy some clove oil at a pharmacy, or at a place open 24 hours. apply clove oil via a q-tip to the painful spot/area. Clove oil has always been of assistance to me. Good luck!

If you got some alcohol (whiskey/tequila) hold it in your mouth on the tooth for 5 or 10 minutes and it will numb it....

i like to take bc powder it works great just but some next
to the tooth that hurts and leave their it helped me alot
and take whats left let the bc dissolve by your tooth it worked
for me untill i got some painkillers

do you have any cloves in the house. they are numbing. put a heating pad on your cheak. take some ibuprofen. try to sleep. hope you feel better!

Try putting a clove in your mouth next to your tooth and suck on it.
