I have a eleven-year-old daughter who has 4 loose adult teeth. They aren't very loose but they do move slightly. Is there anything that I, or a dentist can do to prevent them from falling out?

it's not that I wont see a dentist...i cnt afford one right now. Working a temp job(may not even have that since i took today off cuz of swelling n pain) the dental schools in the area arent accepting new patients till mid november ...and i dnt meet eligibility for low cost dental iin the area. Can i go to ER for this if pain and swelling is bad?(i wldnt mind being "billed out" for services. I thought they would just refer me and send me home. That's y im asking if the Cipro would work.. its all I got that would be strong enuf i know this can get REAL serious if left untreated but dont know what else to do??? Any suggestions???? this all started w a eith a temp filling frm root canal or a regular filling falling out and/ or a cracked tooth .

My Fiancee is having major tooth pain, one of his molars has a huge cavity in it and it goes clear down to the root. He really needs to see a dentist, but heres the problem. He doesn't have benefits yet through his work, he has to wait 2 more months to get them but he can't wait that long because hes losing sleep over the pain in his mouth and he doesn't want the problem to get worse. Anyways, About how much would it cost to get a check up along with the work done, he will eather need a filling or maybe even a crown. Keep in mind he doesn't have insurance.

Can I have a general anaesthetic at any UK dentists and if so how do I go about it ?
I have an increasing phobia and it has got to the point where I can't even phone the appointment through, let alone get myself in the chair. I've tried sedatives, but this only works for the first check-up and then I can't go back for any follow up treatment !

I've heard that Listerine can leave the mouth dried out, so I was wondering it it would still be okay to use this (or any alcohol-based mouthwashes) after getting my tooth pulled yesterday. I haven't done anything yet and just want to make sure before I do something foolish.

to relieve the pain until I can get to the dentist tomorrow. It's four in the morning and there is nothing I can do right now as far as the dentist is concerned but I cannot sleep because the pain is so bad. Icing my jaw only made the pain worse, I've taken Rx pain medication, and Orajel can't reach my jaw bone. Please help me, I am so desperate for relief.

Hi
I underwent a root canal treatment about four months back but have not fixed a tooth cap till now .
I approched a dentist last week for fixing a cap.As there was a minor fracture on the teeth he removed the existing filling and then did a composit refill.
He also did some grinding of the teeth and has also taken some measurments for the cap.
But I am having severe pain on the teeth after this. The pain occurs only if I gargle with water and will last for a couple of minutes.
I am able to chew without any pain. The dentist said that it could be just the sensitivity and will last for about 10 days.
He also took an xray to confirm the filling is fine.
He said that since a root canal treatement has been done on that teeth there is no way that the tooth should give any problems.
Just wanted to know if sensitivity will give a lot of pain and why is it happening only when I gargle with water?

Just hear me out.

I have no time in the morning. Usually I will brush with just a toothbrush and water to get the grimey feeling off.

I don't do this again for another few days. Sometimes i just wipe my teeth off with a towel and go.

and then once a month i use Crest Whitestrips.

Nobody knows. So I hardly ever use toothpaste. Hardly ever use a brush. mostly just wipe my teeth on towels.

gross?
