It's difficult but not impossible. You should floss between all your teeth, especially the ones in the back, because decay attacks the back teeth more easily than the front ones.

"Only floss the ones you want to keep."
The trick is to put your fingers INSIDE your mouth. I've seen people try to keep one finger outside the mouth just like they do for the front teeth and it just doesn't work.
If that doesn't help, get a Floss Aid or some other brand. It is a "Y" shaped thing that is about 4" or 5" long. You string some floss on it and then you can do your back teeth. There is a commercial product with individual little clips of floss that you use and toss, but MAN does that get expensive. Dental floss is so cheap that it is practically free, so try to avoid buying that thing unless you just can't figure out any other way.

It depends on two things.
1.) How wide your mouth opens and 2.) What size your hands are in proportion to that.
My husband and I floss our teeth every day - and he manages all the ones in the back, top and bottom and he's got average sized man-hands.
I can open my mouth wide and have smallish hands so it's not too difficult but I know what you mean. The other thing is that they are in the darkest corners of your mouth, and you can't even see the top ones at all. It's guess work for the most part.
Flossing can be hard work because it's something that only you know if you have done or not. So doing it every day takes extra effort. But once you get used to it and get your own method going, it becomes much more like 2nd-nature.

yes. It is difficult you just have to allow enough slack in the floss to straighten your fingers and tighten the floss to get all the way in the back. It is very important to get this spot because plaque collects the easiest sinc there isn't another tooth to keep plaque from building up. The gums back there hold plaque very easily and allow for decay very easily. If flossing is still tough, I recomend going to the grocery store and getting the floss that is threaded on the toothpic thing to get a good reach. If you neglect this area, it is the most difficult spot for dentists to get to for doing fillings and crowns. Plus it'll be uncomfortable for you cause you'll have to have your mouth open really wide, almost forced wider than you can, just so the doc can get back there. GOOD LUCK!

yes, use a fine floss if you are having trouble getting the floss between the teeth. Even though the teeth are "way back", you should be able to get to them, just open as wide as possible.
Also, you might want to consider using an oral irrigator, and I am attaching information. It blasts food out from between the teeth, and it is especially helpful for hard-to-reach areas.

I do, but not with the string crap. I've got a Reach Access Flosser. That thing is amazing! I can get all of my teeth flossed without having to stick my fingers in my mouth. Try it!

I floss my teeth right to the back.
Aren't your fingers long enough?
You can buy these little disposable floss holder thingies which can help you reach. They are like little wishbone shaped things with some floss strung between the ends.
I've always just been able to do it.
Good dentition is worth it.
Just LOOK at a mouth with bad teeth and see if you wanna kiss!
Mmmmmm dental plaque!

yes,i floss in my back and it is a little hard to reach...but you should try to get something from your dentist or get one of those handheld things with a piece of floss at the end to reach in the back of your mouth.
