Pain killers are used to reduce the pain for many causes.Usually if you would like to remove your wisdon tooth, the dentist or the surgeon would normally give you painkillers to momentarily numb your jaws so that you don't feel anything during surgery. On the other hand, some painkillers used to treat other pains in the body could very well affect you during surgery.

If they are only mild pain killers it should not hurt there is nothing worse then a pain in the mouth from a tooth that hurts even while on your way or waiting for the appointment

There are several things to take into consideration. (1) Are you taking aspirin or Motrin or Advil or aleve? ( All of these drugs are anti-inflammatory drugs and tend to make you blood clot more slowly.) (2) Are you going to have sedation or just Novocaine?
(3) Why aren't you discussing this with your Oral Surgeon?

hell no take one extra you will most likely be put out have someone drive you home then take another one hurts like hell when you wake up also take one for me ha ha
