Mine started to come in right after I turned 16. I'm almost 18 now and I only have the top 2. How come the bottom teeth haven't started to grow in? How long does it usually take? Is barely 16 the right age for them to come in?

I had gone to the oral surgeon specialist back in February, however, I was not able to pay for my surgery so I did not have it done, all that I had gone for was just to get the xrays taken and to talk to the doctor. However, since one is bothering me some, not terrible, but some now, I have thought about going back to the specialist and maybe this time I can get the surgery paid for. My question is, I believe that one has come in already and did not bother me, but, will the specialist recommend that I have all of them taken out anyway even if there are some that have come in?

Can a periodontist work on your wisdom teeth? See, I am trying to find the one who will charge me the cheapest, and, I have a friend that knows a dentist who is a periodontist and we are going to check with him. But, do any of you know if a periodontist can do surgery to take your wisdom teeth out?

From time to time, I kind of hack up these little (and sometimes not so little) clumps. Theyre kind of white/yellowish, and smell terrible! Sometimes I can see them way in the back of my throat.
I brush and floss 3 times a day, and gargle once in the morning.
What are they and how do they happen?

Why and how does my breath change when I wake up? I don't eat anything while I'm asleep; at least I think I don't.

I grind my teeth almost every night. How do I stop. I have a mouth guard and that created more problems with my jaw, besides I don't want a bandage I want a solution.

The Dr. put a dressing in there and told me to go home and act normal and eat whatever I wanted. Well a week later I was rinsing with the syringe they gave me and the dressing came out. Iam not in alot of pain but when I looked back there, theres a hole and it is VERY dark and the other side isnt like that. It is also making my other teeth hurt. IS THIS NORMAL????

I had one, now it has failed and on antibiotics. They want to retreat. But if this doesn't work, I want it pulled and my dentist doesn't want to do this. What I am supposed to do?
