What is this? A quiz show? Why are there so many people just guessing at the answer? Maybe you didn't read the question.
There are 28 teeth in a typical adult mouth, if you do not include the wisdom teeth.

Permanent teeth are evenly distributed across the mouth's quadrants. Each quadrant of eight teeth has a:
central incisor
lateral incisor
cuspid (canine)
first premolar
second premolar
first molar
second molar
third molar (wisdom teeth)
The answer is 28...not including wisdom teeth. Actually, the actual number of teeth in an adult's mouth may depend upon the adult in question...lol.

Everyone has 32 teeth, unless some are fake, subtract 4 for wisdom teeth and you have 28 teeth.

Not including the Wisdom (Molars): 32
Most adult males will have a total of 36 alltogether. The four molars are generally removed to prevent lengthening of the jaw and crowding of the teeth.
