Inside your mouth? Probably canker sores.
Fatigue, stress or allergies can increase the likelihood of a canker sore. A cut caused by biting the cheek or tongue, or reactions from hot foods or beverages may contribute to canker sore development. Intestinal problems, such as ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease, also seem to make some people more susceptible.
Treating Canker Sores: They usually heal on their own after a week or two, but an outbreak may occur. Over-the-counter topical anesthetics and antimicrobial mouthrinses may provide temporary relief. Stay away from hot, spicy or acidic foods that can irritate the sore. Antibiotics and some oral bandages can reduce secondary infection.

1. Go to the doctor, have him check you out.
why?
A. Could be anything to something not so serious to being contageous.
what?
Oral herpes yes the STD kind.
Mumps (yes it is treatable and curable)
Oral blisters (sometimes gotten right before a cold sets in)
Think about what you had eating lately?
Too hot? Can cause burns specially on the upper pallet.
Too Acidy?
Allergic to something can cause sores.
How do you control things like this? There is no controlling it except for taking precautions as to what you do and how you take care of yourself as far as the things you eat or drink. This is something you dont want to mess around with. Hypothetically speaking if it is something of a contageous state, you need to get on medicine for it or an antibiotic. For now hold off on any kissing and change your toothbrush. Not everyday but you dont want to be using an infected toothbrush now since you have used it.
I wish you well and good luck.

Try not to eat too many salty foods. That may be causing it? It depends on the sores, if they are from accidentally biting your cheek, or tongue, you need to slow down your eating.
If it is bumps, and white, you may have thrush (a form of a yeast infection).
I would suggest trying to gargle an equal parts mix of hydrogen peroixide & water (so it is diluted), and see if that helps over the next two days, after that, if it is still sore, you need to see your doctor, or a walk in clinic, to make sure it isn't something that needs some medicine or other treatment.
Good luck.

If they are canker sores then there are several things you can do:
1. Rinse with Listerine several times per day.
2. Swish Milk-of-Magnesia over sore few times per day.
3. Avoid salty food, acidic juices
4. Buy over the counter ointment for Canker Sores
They are usually caused when your immune system comes across something that isn't common in your system. Some women get them during their menstral cycle due to hormonal changes. Stress can also cause them. They are not contagious.

Well, one reason could be avitaminosis (lack of vitamins), which can be remedied by a change of diet, but still the best thing to do is to see a doctor and have it diagnosed properly.
