Doesn't sound right to me...call the dentist who extracted the wisdom teeth and tell him/her what's goin on just to be safe.

Hopefully your surgeon has scheduled a one week post op appt to check the progression of your healing. Try to give him a call and describe what you're feeling. If you cant wait the full week to go back see about getting in sooner. It is possible that you might have dry socket, and if so, he will need to place a medicated dressing in the socket to calm it down. No amount of pain medication will relieve the pain. Do you primarily have lower jaw pain on one side of your face? Dry socket occurs more frequently on extracted lower molars and wisdom than the top teeth.

Good luck!

make sure you are rinsing as he told you to do. It is possible that you accidentally dislodged the clot in the hole( which causes dry socket) and it is getting infection in it. If you can talk to the dental surgeon do so or go to your closest walk in clinic. It should be healing at about the same rate as the other side unless he/she told you that had trouble on that side.
