finally being the son of a dentist pays off.

ok, you can eat the basic soft foods: pudding, applesauce, yogurt, ice cream

and you can have liquids, like soup, but some things in the soup may be hard to handle, like bits of meat etc..

since you obviously are not getting the correct ammount of daily nutritions from pudding a soup, maybe in the morning you can make a smoothie:

1 cup orange juice
1 frozen banana
a few cut up strawberries, or whatever you can find in the fridge

*the frozen banana works well because it frees you from using ice, and watering down your smoothie.

hope this helped

ps--advil is the best for tooth related pains

Sorry about that, I know it does hurt. try pudding, jello, chicken noodle soup, juice and chocolate milk mashed potatoes. At first it sometimes hurts so bad just the thought of anything touching the teeth is terrible. Get some straws and take Motrin or another pain reliever about an hour before the appt. Good luck.

Yogurt Applesauce Soup Bannanas Water melon Potted meat jello milk juice V8 juice oatmeal pudding popsicles icecream frozen yogurt mashed potatoes baby food anything pureed anything soft sodas I break things up or cut them up small and put them in my mouth then swallow them if I want something else like I break up cheese into little pieces. I did learn salad does not do well in a food processer it is just out and out nasty for some reason. If you cut it up or break it up into small pieces then you can probably ingest it while drinking liquids pretty good. Also getting some powdered ora gel and swishing it around in your mouth will help with the pain A friend gave me some it was so efffective. Eat good before you go and clean your teeth good afterwards it helps when you get home to avoid eating for awhile or craving things that will make your teeth hurt by having to bite o them to break them into small enough pieces and particles to ingest.

Campbell's has those microwave soups to go, the blended vegetable medley is totally drinkable, no chewing involved and it is actually kind of filling, if you have a large appetite try a couple, the entire line is drinkable, and they are the ones in the tall skinny container with the drink lid.

And soup. And in spite of else you do no longer ought to chew on for an afternoon or so. stable luck!
