I'm getting my wisdom teeth removed tomorrow. I'm really nervous about it. My bf told me as many details as he could remember about the process, but his were removed a couple years ago, so he may have left stuff out just cuz he didn't remember. If anyone remembers their experience, could you tell me some stuff that would help ease my nervousness or give advice of stuff I should keep in mind to do or something? I'd appreciate it...

Please help, one time I was going to have a tooth extracted, and in the middle of the anesthesia I woke up only to find the dentist with his knees on my chest trying to pull as hard as he could. Well he didnt even pull one and sent me home telling me that since I woke up, he couldnt do anything for me. I have post traumatic stress disorder due to this situation, AM TRAUMATIZED, well now am 33 weeks pregnant with a severe tooth infection and even though they gave me some antibiotics, they didnt work. So now they are going to send me for emergency surgery. I am so scared, terrified, I want to be under general anesthesia, I got two opinions, one doctor said ok, the other said not ok, I dont know what to do please help me.

My wisdom teeth are coming in and it hurts so bad i want to cry, it hurts when i swallow and eat and my gums and cheek is really swollen i can't even drink water with it hurting. what can i do to make the pain and the swelling go away

I've been reading and is it possible that my dentist will not be able to find my roots tomorrow for my root canal?? I put it off for a year and a half and i hope it didnt decay or anything *knock on wood*..what are some signs that ur roots are gone?? will it affect my other teeth?!! HOW DO I TELL! Well i was prescribed antibiotics for my tooth and it wasnt a problem until i started experiencing vaginal infections, a side effect to the drug penicillan! I stopped taking the antibiotics but my tooth is giving me very, very, very bad toothaches and i cant bear them anymore... Do you think if i start back taking them, the tooth will stop hurting?... will i have already been immune to the drug... i stopped taking the drug a good 3-4 weeks ago! help!

I have put this off for a year and a half already...is my tooth gonna fall out?!! I'm soo scared..the nerve is already dead and now after a year and a half it is soring again =( I'm soooo scared..will the process hurt at all?? i have been told i have cavaty (holes) in my teeth and i have to get a filling but i have to get a jab and there going to dril my teeth a bit so they can do the filling i have got 5 to get done

We have been together for two and a half years. We have not set our wedding date because of this and another health issue he has. He rarely brushes his teeth or flosses. His gums are red and he has bad breath all the time. Almost every day I tell him to brush, floss, and use mouthwash. I think he has periodontal disease. He won't find out what his dental insurance coverage is through his work though I have asked him to do this and go see a dentist for two years now. I'm at my wit's end! What more can I do? How can I get him to listen?

I've had an abcessed tooth for 3 years. The gums opened a drain in my gums itself and the pain and swelling came and went several times before finally I had to go to the dentist. I got antibiotics which didn't fully kick the infection and a root canal was done. The infection was so bad that it's still in the bone and it hurts. They had mentioned previously an apioectomy? I don't have the money for anything and I'm getting strange blurred vision, headaches, tingly face, and I'm not sure if it's related, but the swelling and pain returned at the same time that these symptoms came about. I'm scared that I may get a brain infection and die... is that possible? Where can I go for help?

i got a molar extracted three days ago and I think i might be getting a dry socket...the pain isn't too bad, but it does throb a little and looks sunken in. I read you have to go back to the dentist to get a dressing put on it, but is there anything else I can do to help myself?
