3-1/2 years ago I had 3 root canals done. Since then I've had all kinds of problems on my right side. My right ear hurt, my right vision has been blurred. I even was hospitilazed for 5 days for severe vertigo (only on right side) with follow up by neurologists only to find nothing. Last week I was out to eat and I had severe pain in one of my crowns, swollen right side of face also, back to the dentist, I was told I had a root fracture, severe infection and need an oral surgeon to extract? I need more info. which I cannot seem to find. Anyone heard of this happening? Thanks. Jo

This occured about 3 weeks ago first.I was watching TV and I had my head resting on my hand. Then I went to get some food and while I was eating my brownies my jaw popped.Every time I open my mouth more than like and inch wide it pops. I'ts really annoying when I'm trying to chew but there is no pain. Everyone keeps saying TMJ TMJ TMJ. So what if it is TMJ? What can I do about it. I just want my mouth to be normal like before. Grr. Help would be appreciated. (I'm 15) My parents say it will go away sooner or later but it's annoying. They say it's nothing to go to the docotr or dentist about..

I was advised by orthodontist that if i wanted to straighten my teeth, i would have to have several teeth extracted first. I am already 30 years old, i'm afraid this could result in some adverse effect on my jaw bones or loose teeth. Any views in this regard is highly appreciated.

They were sweet and red, and they left red coloring all over your teeth, but mostly in between. (Now that I think of it, I bet there was no trick to it, anything you eat ends up pretty much between your teeth.)

Do patients who say "I hate the dentist & getting my teeth worked on, really think we will do the same cleaning and service as those who don't?" I know we're supposed to, but do you really think we do?

My porcelein one broke for no reason & its pretty expensive to replace it (even w/ insurance) about $400. I found out I can get a stainless steal crown cheaper & the tooth is a molar so you can't see it when I smile so I don't look "trashy" Does anyone have a steel one & what has your luck been with it? I've heard they might not last as long. Please help-my appt is tomorrow!

I am having my wisom teeth out this week, and I am wondering if the fact that they are all fully emerged from the gums and straight and such will make my surgery any easier. I am having them removed by an oral surgeon and am going under full anesthesia, but I'm still having a few qualms and am just curious. Thanks!

I had all 4 of my wisdom teeth pulled on Friday, and I feel okay today except that I am SO TIRED. The only pain medication that I have needed is iboprofen, which normally does not have that effect on me. Is this a normal part of the healing process?
