Last night I thougt I would try listerine whitening pre-brush Rinse and it made my mouth burn and this morning when I went to brush my teeth there is red spots all in my mouth and my gums are swollen and my mouth hurts could it be that I'm allergic to the listerine and if so any suggestions on what I could do to make the swelling and the red spots go away?

Gold can be easily melted and sold. Morticians see a lot of gold teeth and fillings. Nobody ever asks the funeral director to open their dead mother's mouth to see if the gold has been removed. A lot could be gathered in a year. The temptation must be irrestable. How often do you think this happens?

I had a very difficult extraction of my lower wisdom tooth and when they took it out the nerve was touched and as a result my chin and lip are numb and I am having a lot of pain. I have dulling pains radiating from my jaw to my chin alternated with sharp jabbing pains that feel like someone is sticking me with hot pokers. I went to the suregon today and he said my nerve is in tact but it may take awhile to feel better. Anywhere from 1-6 weeks! I am in so much pain that I am off from work this week although he did inject me with some medicine to numb the area (although it doesn't help that much!). I don't know if I can live with this pain!!Has this happened to anyone else???

My son is 12 years old and he is with his dad, we have joint custody. He was told over a year ago that our child would have to have braces, not that it's my time for summer visitation, all of a sudden my son is scheduled to have his braces put on. I think it's just another way for his dad to keep him away from me. As if after a year, this can't wait until after school starts back in two months.

Okay, I need my wisdom teeth out, but my parents don't have insurance, and anyway I'm 21 now and don't have any of my own. I'm going on a road trip for like a month, and I don't know if I should wait until after the road trip. I can feel the teeth coming in a little, but there isn't really much pain - just pressure like I have an overfull mouth. I will get them out after the road trip, but is two months to long to wait at this point, or can I survive two more months without screwing up my beautiful beautiful face?
(After the road trip I'll get a job with dental, and it will cost WAY less)

I have dental insurance but with only a $1000 maximum cap. Should this be sufficient to cover 2 root canal surgeries? The teeth in question are #13 and #30.
