You should go to a dentist whose specialization is in the TMJ=
Temporomandibular Joint Dysfunction. Some dentist fix your outer teeth nicely but they dont know that they have move or hit a certain part of nerves in your gums. This causes pain in the back shoulder or most often headache. .

i hope you will be able to find that kind of dentist in your area. I am living in asia and i was able to find one for my little girl .

Good luck

Headaches can be a sign of an abscessed tooth, but that wouldn't be the first thing I thought of. I would more suspect a sinus infection than a wisdom tooth problem. You need to see your doctor, and if the headache doesn't abate, then see your general dentist. I don't know how old you are, but you should have your wisdom teeth pulled out by your mid-20s. I did have a horrible headache one time, and the next day I woke up with a swollen cheek from an abscessed tooth. I had no dental pain, because a root canal had already been started, but I ended up losing the tooth anyway.

Talk to your physician about the problem. You must have this problem taken care of now. Your doctor can find the professional and refer you to him/her. If you attempt to find answers on your own, all you will get is turned down because dentists will not go against one another even if it means a patient suffering. THIS IS MY OPINION. THERE IS SUCH A THING AS FREEDOM OF SPEECH.

my roomate has gotten headaches after going to the dentist.. it could have to do with the pressure in your jaw. if it persists, you should go back and see your dentist. but it should go away in time :)
