Do most developed countries spend a larg proportion of their health budgets on expensive medical technology and procedures. this money should be spent instead on health education to keep people well.

ok, i've tried to tie a string to my tooth and slam the door, but it wont work. my tooth is stubborn and hurts really bad. plus, it wont hold the string on the tooth. please do not say anything like, eat something chewy or have a dentist pull it. i've had too many teeth pulled from a dentist. anyways please give an answer worth trying. this tooth needs to come out asap. ive waited days and it hasn't gotten very loose but its loose enough to tell that it is ready to come out. i've also seen a dentist to tell me if the other tooth is pushing it out and it is so if you have any good answers worth trying please let me know.

I love to eat Jordan Almonds. This is the 2nd time I broke a tooth eating them. $1000.00 dentist bill for a crown. My dog loves them too and he is now missing a tooth. Does anyone else have this problem? Can we sue Jordan almonds for the dental bills? They sue the cigarette companies for cancer.

I think of dentists as (more or less) doctors for the mouth region. Why isn't just a specialty of medicine and therefore taught in med school with all of the other medical specialties?

How much will a tooth implant cost? I realize this price will vary depending on my personal circumstances; I am simply trying to bet a bench mark to go on.

I live in Northern California and the tooth is number 19. An easy way to figure out what that means is to think of your lower set of teeth, it is the second one from the back on the left hand side.

If you actually had the implant done, do you like it or not and why?

Thx for any help, John B.

My daughter just turned 7 this month and has all her baby teeth. There isn't even any loose!!! She does all the normal stuff like brush her teeth twice a day. She just got some more molars in this month too. Should that maybe push things around and loosen them up.
Every dentist says that it will happen when it happens but it still makes me alittle nervous.
Thanks for any help or advice.

I am 19 and considering getting braces (for a second time! because my top teeth shifted some). I believe I am still under my parents health insurance, but there is a possibility i won't be covered because i already had them once and am over 18.. besides that fact, how much should I expect them to cost? i may have to take out a loan and i am wondering if i will be able to afford it? Also, does anyone know if clear braces or if there are any other options so people don't notice as much, more expensive and how much
