Nope, that's just a myth. In fact, our stomach doesn't digest gum at all! Since it's made out of soluble fiber, chewing gum passes right through us. So gum comes out with the rest of your waste, usually a day or two after you eat it. Although you shouldn't swallow chewing gum, it is not considered harmful.

No. It takes longer than 24 hours like regular food, but not 7 years. No where NEW 7 years.. I think that it just takes like 48 hours or something.

No!My daughter swallowes it all the time so I asked her Doc and he said it digests like everything else.

i dont knoe but it just sits in the part of your stomach thats digest food.to go in to your small intestine.but it just sits there.it depends on how big the gum is.but not always it can just go right down..

no its the same as any other food. thats a just so ppl dont swallow it but i do all the time. its fine
