I am 19 and considering getting braces (for a second time! because my top teeth shifted some). I believe I am still under my parents health insurance, but there is a possibility i won't be covered because i already had them once and am over 18.. besides that fact, how much should I expect them to cost? i may have to take out a loan and i am wondering if i will be able to afford it? Also, does anyone know if clear braces or if there are any other options so people don't notice as much, more expensive and how much

in the neighborhood of 5000 with both arches but since you already had them- you might check with your old orthodontist. possibly, he may have alternate ideas for your treatment such as a retainer

Clear braces come to around six thousad dollars. Otherwise.. normal braces usually come to around four thousand. If you have an extremely busy schedule I wouldn't suggest the invisiline because you have to go in every week.

It probably depends on who you go to put them on for you and how badly your teeth need them.

I would estimate between $2,000.00 -$3,500.00 -- estimate.

You have to factor in the acutal braces, cleaning, checkups, retainers, etc. It could be all included in one price or seperate. Call around and get a qoute. It won't hurt to see and some orthodontist give free consultations.
