Soft foods are the best. Make sure she does not drink through a straw, it will make the blood clot that has formed come out. If that happens it is a dry socket and they are very painful. Also make sure she does not spit forcefully as that too can dislodge the clot. I hope she feels better soon.

It depends on the severity... when I had my wisdom teeth pulled it was not too bad. Revert to baby food... ie. anything that does not require chewing... mashed vegetables, stewed fruit etc. I always found that stocking up on cool food like iceblocks and icecream helped too... as well as being easy to swallow the coolness eased some pain. You did not mention her age, but being wisdom teeth I am presuming she is old enough to communicate with you, so ask her to keep you posted with what is working for her and what is not... as a side note.. stay away from particularly salty food as it can aggrevate the wound.

it depends on how she got her teeth out, if the teeth were impacted (meaning that they had to break the wisdom teeth to pull them out) then she is going to be hurting and bleeding more then if they were not. Stay away from salty foods and foods that have a rough texture, stick to oatmeal, yougart, eggs, pudding that kind of stuff for the first day or two if she is hurting bad.

I would agree that softer foods like mashed potatoes, ripe bananas and pudding is what you eat.
Don't do what the cook at university did and give me instititutional roast beef (thick and very dry). It dislocated my jaw eating it!

Hi,
Try to cook some congee and keep cool for her to eat. Maybe, you can prepare some really well done noodle(cool noodle and cut it in a small for easy swollen).
Good luck:)
