So how do you stop bleeding the quickest? I just had my wisdom teeth pulled yesterday and it is still bleeding. I just want it to stop.

A few things that will help the bleeding stop.

1) keep your activity level mild for the first 48 hours.
2) do NOT drink anything from a straw, it will break open the clots in your new holes.
3) avoid foods that might poke in the holes and cause continued bleeding
4) take the medication you were given
4) finally, cool liquids may help too.

Good Luck!

Keep pressure on it. The dentist may have given you gauze bandages for you to pack up tightly and press against the bleeding areas. Obviously keep changing the dressing every few hours (depending on how saturated it gets) and hopefully you're using a pain reliever that is not a blood thinner (like aspirin)

Dont suck on anything, the best thing
is to swish warm salt water around in your mouth,
Try not to brush that side of your mouth when brushing your teeth. In time the bleeding will stop. Make sure you take all your medications the dentist gave you, so you wont have anything bad happen to you afterwards,

firm pressure (not chewing) with cotton gauze is first. if it still doesn't want to stop you can bite with firm pressure on a tea bag. if it still doesn't want to stop you can go back to the dentist and have them pack it with something called gel foam which is a resorbable foam that has a clotting agent in it.

be aware though...slow ooze of blood from an extraction site is totally normal. if it's bleeding like you just lost a finger tip then call your dentist/oral surgeon.

make sure to not use a blood thinning pain reliever, use something more like ibuprofen, and be sure to keep pressusre on the openings. gauze pads work well, and be sure to bite down on them to keep the pressure. also, dont lay down, keep your head up, if you keep your head above your heart, it is harder for your heart to get blood up there, and if its harder, not as much will be up there, which will help reduce bleeding, and decrease the time needed to stop the bleeding.

Nothing you can do really. If its still bleeding, you may have pulled out the stitches. If it doesn't stop soon, I'd contact your dentist and ask him what to do.

you're going to have at least a week or so of discomfort...just hang in there. The bleeding should stop pretty soon though.

put a small piece of cotton on the empty place of your wisdom teeth and press on it by pressing your teeth on each other. I hope that would help you.

Moisten a tea bag and place it in that area. It helps the blood to clot.
