I am having my wisom teeth out this week, and I am wondering if the fact that they are all fully emerged from the gums and straight and such will make my surgery any easier. I am having them removed by an oral surgeon and am going under full anesthesia, but I'm still having a few qualms and am just curious. Thanks!

no it will actually be a little more difficult to get them out but you may get away without stitches if there is no incision necessary. either way it sucks but you shouldn't know anything about it since you'll be knocked out. personally, i prefer to take out erupted third molars just cause i don't have to wonder where they are.

it depends on how developed the root system is but an oral surgeon will definitely take great care of ya. just don't go marathon shopping the next day- take it easy

I think it will be better than mine that grew in sideways. If you start feeling after like your jaw is pulsing with your heartbeat go back to the dentist and tell them you may have a dry socket. They pack them with nasty looking stuff but they feel so much better.

No..it is actulally harder to remove them when they are emerged and grown in,due to the roots being more developed and deaper.
