The answer is to see the dentist. It sounds like they are impacted. Take a pain reliever...exederin are my favorite. If there is any swelling down the neck, or lower than your chin line, go and see your doctor first because they could be infected. The doctor will give you an antibiotic to reduce the swelling. Once that is down, the dentist can remove your wisdom teeth. Let me tell you it is quite a relief to have them out, especially if they are impacted.
Good luck.

The worst part of wisdom teeth is that the come out a little bit, then the gum swells up and grows back around them, then they come out again. This process can go on and on and it causes a lot of pain. For the short-term (before you go to the dentist) try Orajel to numb the surface pain and Advil or Tylenol for the rest. Eat softer foods and get to a dentist ASAP. Sometimes this process can cause infection and it can be dangerous because it has a straight shot to your brain. Plus, it hurts a bunch. It happened to me and I had mine taken out. I didn't even need the pain killer they prescribed me after, but it will probably make you feel really, really good. You don't have to have all four out at once, they'll probably just do the ones that are bothering you at the moment and then have the others taken out at a later time.

Definitely see your dentist, but in the meantime, take a few Motrin, rinse with lukewarm salt water--you could try Anbesol or Orajel put directly on the gums, but I can't guarantee it will help. Good luck--hope it feels better soon!

Try over the counter numbing gel like Oral gel. If that doesn't help contact your dentist they may need to check your teeth out.
They may be causing problems..
