i got a molar extracted three days ago and I think i might be getting a dry socket...the pain isn't too bad, but it does throb a little and looks sunken in. I read you have to go back to the dentist to get a dressing put on it, but is there anything else I can do to help myself?

If you go back to your surgeon they can help you with a dry socket. There is no reason to hurt and they can put some stuff in it that will take away the pain. You might have to go back a couple of times to have it repacked but you will be amazed at how much this clove tasting stuff really works.

Colgate Peroxyl

Peroxyl is a disinfectant, basically, so it should keep bacteria out. It's great stuff. However, I'd definitely contact the surgeon/dentist who did the extraction, because he/she will know exactly what they're dealing with.

you can put proxil on it but the best thing you can do is go to the Doctor in case anything is wrong.
