Don't start taking it again. Go to your doctor and explain everything to him/her. They will be able to prescribe you something else that will help.

It's not likely to hurt you, but It's not likely to help you either. If you have a lot of them left, I would call and ask the doctor or dentist if you should continue taking them. Antibiotics are given according to how long they believe it will take to relieve the infection. So, they are supposed to be taken that set amount of time. It will not do the job it's supposed to if you stop and start. It medicine starts off giving your immune system a break, which lowers it, then works to fight the infection for the immune system. So, if you stop taking them, all you've done is lower your resistance. Then, you start again, so you've lowered it again. You must take them for the allotted time, or they do no good. You may have to get a different prescription that doesn't cause side effects. I am allergic to Penicillin (as are so many people). Your vaginal infection may possibly have been a side effect of the Penicillin. Tell your doctor all of this and he will be able to tell you what is the best thing for you to do.

If you had side effects from the antibiotic, tell your doctor. Don't start taking them again, not only for that reason alone, but once you stop taking an antibiotic it will not work like it should. In fact, you create a monster when you don't complete an antibiotic therapy. You've enabled a bug to become resistant, therefore more immune. Antibiotics build up in your body even since you were in the womb. So if you're prescribed one, take all of it as directed. Unless, you have a reaction, in that case tell your doctor immediately so it can be changed.

Every time you stop taking an Antibiotic's you will build up Resistance against the Drug.
Always ,finish the course.
Considering your tooth ache, consult your Dentist, you might developed a new Infection and your Dentist has to prescribe you a different Medication.

Ask the dentist for a different antibiotic, and after infection subides in a few day, get tooth pulled or have a root canal done whichever is indicated.

Call your dentist and tell him/her what happen. Your dentist will most likely prescribe a different drug or suggest you come into the office and have the problem taken care of. Going back and taking those old meds won't help now.

I'd go back to the Doctor and ask for a different med. If you have started taking the pills there may not be enough there anyway to complete the treatment. And........maybe penicillin may not be the drug of choice for you.
I hate taking a medicine that gives me something else....it's like a mad cRaZy circle of drugs SoMboDY making money girlfriend.

you wont be immune to it that quick! but your tooth does need sorting. go bac to your dentist and explain why you came off the antibiotics and then you can start a new set of tablets. you can also ask him to give you a different antibiotic that wont cause the vaginal prolems. if your vaginal problems are constant then i would see your g.p for further investigation.
