My mother has told everyone he cannot have flowers or plants in the house, because "it might take away his breath". I feel the flowers/plants are good for him, since last I heard, they give off oxygen and take in the carbon dioxide he breathes out. Am I wrong to feel she is denyinig him something he may enjoy during his illness? How do I convince her she is wrong?

So I had sex a little over a week ago. For about 5 days I've had brownish blood every time I wipe. Its lasting too long for it to be implantation bleeding isnt it? I have been trying to get pregnant...but I'm not thinking that what this is. I also have a bladder infection from holding my pee for too long..I've had that for about a week. I just want to know what the brown blood is. I shouldnt start my period for another week and a half.

My 13 year old son fell down the dtairs last night, and injured his foot, he couldn'r put pressure on it, and now used vrutches that we had from before...my wife called 911 and they told him to stay put until they got there. The doctor at hospital took xray's, came to see my son, said rudely, "There's no reason to have to call emergency 911 resue for something like this, I wouldn't recommend doing it again, if it's not necessary, save it for the people who really need it." As he said he was going to look at the xray's and be back, my wife saw him go to his desk, but didn't look at naything, talked to a nurse, and game back saying, "well, I don't think there's anything majorly wrong with his foot, it's probobly just a sprain, can he put pressure on it?" Our son got up and slowly put pressure on it, and walked with a hobble, and painful limp. He didn't give him any pain medication, or splint, cast, or even an ace wrap, and sent him home. should we have a lawsuite here?

We have been Dating for over a year and have been intimate once.. But Never really had the time to do it again..(Sad I Know) He's been away for some time and I want to be with him on his return if you know what I mean.. we really love each other but have never been so open to talk about sex... Have any of you women ever wondered if you are infertile? It is a question that is ALWAYS going through my mind. I have pretty normal periods but I always feel in my mind, something is telling me I will not be able to conceive when I choose to.
Has anyone else wondered about their fertility or is this somesort of "Womanly intuition" i might have?

The only time in my life I have had issues with my BP is when I'm pregnant. Seeing as how its next to impossible for me to be pregnant right now (Mirena IUC), I found it odd that I was having my high bp symptoms (seeing spots, headache, dizzy, etc). I took my bp and it was 132/94. I'm about to be 27, relatively healthy and in good shape for having a 4 month old. No new stressors in my life right now and I'm not really a fan of salt. Anybody have any thoughts? Thanks.

For years I have suffered with the fear that EVERY SINGLE THING I eat will make me sick! It's getting annoying.It's like I will be okay for a while but then it will start again. My mother has been diagnosed with weird illness , or least in her point of view. Her symptoms changes in months which is an odd thing, she takes regular painkiller the hospital has given her. They gave it to her thinking that theres something wrong with her ribcage when she inhales.

My mom tells me she has daily chest pains and that she feels her breath is shorten when she inhales, when she inhales it seems that her lung is blocked and she cannot inhale completely. Lately her jaws feels tired and weary out easily when she chews and her veins seems to feel shocked a bit sometime, a sharp pain. When she stop drinking the pills the doctor gave the pains seems to come back and so she gotta keep taking them.

We've been to the hospital and GP so often, yet through all her breathing test, blood test from artery and so on, and her x-ray seems perfectly fine.

What could be the cause of this? is my mom life at risk and the doctors can't seem to find a treatment? I fear for my mother life..

I went to see tow different eye doctors and both of them couldn't find anything wrong with my eye. No scratches, No inflamation, Not even irritation. Was is it? It only hurts when i look to the right and sometimes when i blink. it started about two weeks ago. it went a way for a few days and now it's back. help.

I'm a swimmer. I swim 4x a week(unless its a holiday or i'm sick) for 2hrs a day. i also walk to the pool and back(about a mile round trip).

Like most of the girls on my team, i'm slight. UNLIKE most of them, i'm also very tall for a 14-and-under. I'm about 5'7-5'8 and maybe 140lb(give or take).

I don't stop going unless i'm really sick or hurt...so i'll show up when i've got an annoying cold or if my arm hurts a little.

I am NOT anarexoic! I do have trouble eating more than a small meal in a sitting, so i generally eat 4-5x a day to compensate for that.

Am i paticulary at risk for getting sick? I've read of something that can happen to female athleats that makes u really sick....

My g/f told me yesterday that she's pregnant. We've been dating for 5 years, I'm 27 and she's 31. We were being safe when we had sex, she was on the pill, but I guess it's not 100% effective.

I realize I'm old enough to be a father and I would def be responsible but I'm not at the point in my life right now where I want a kid to raise. I want to wait until I've a little further in my career. I love my g/f and I will support her but I'm not ready for a kid right now in any way!

She told me that she is def gonna keep it. I tried to talk to her about an abortion but she said that's out of the question.

Is there anything I can say, in a nice way of course, that would help convince her to see things my way?

My wife is smart. She can run businesses and do a million things I can't on the comuter. 5 years ago she said I could take a break from work and follow my dreams and she'd do the bills if I did the house. But for the last 3 years she has gotten more and more absent minded and tired and complainy. She constantly complains about my lack of contibution and bugs me all the time to get a job because she feels to overwhelmed and needs a "break". I want to help her but there isn't any job I can do that will let me do my stuff during the day too. I can only work 4 -5 hrs a day a few days a week and she thinks that I am being unfair. yes were broke but we still have a home and i don't see why i should have to work when she is so smart and can do it better. My $500 a month isn't going to make much difference. I understand she has major depressive disorder but she keeps using it as an excuse for not wanting to work anymore and forcing me to help more. Should i do more or is the excuse BS??

I don't get it, i'm constantly sad/depressed, but my social life and stuff is great. I dont see what the problem could be.
I can't even sleep properly lately, and I'm only eating as much as an 8 year-old, though i'm 15.....

I think about suicide a lot, and my friends arn't really helping.I dont know who i can talk to, or rather, what i'm even supposed to say. I'm not good with my parents, either. I tried keeping a diary, but it doesn't really help.

Even when i "think happy thoughts" i feel sad/ depressed. I've been feeling like this for a few months now, and i've started cutting myself, too.

Whats wrong with me?!
