At the back of your mouth they're 4 huge teeth that often inflic pain as a result of mouth capacity. Why do they call them wisdom teeth? And if you don have an idea, what do you think?

The thrid molars (wisdom teeth) are called that because they usually erupt around the time a person becomes and adult, or near. They are usually the last teeth to erupt, and thus, the person is generally older.

They are called wisdom teeth because by the time you get them you should have wisdom.

I really don't know mate, perhaps it is because when they develop, in your teens, you have some wisdom in your brain.

I was fortunate as I had my 4 back teeth removed at an early age so when they grew I had no problems with them.

Because they come in when you are older and supposed to have more "wisdom".
