Either you're eating too little or overdoing it on the calories.

I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.
I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.
It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.

Low carb, low fat, and low calorie diets don't work. That's why you can't lose the weight. Believe it or not, you have to eat to lose the weight. I wanted desperately to lose weight too. I started working out and drinking plenty of water. This helped me lose a couple of pounds per week, but then I found this website. I lost 5 pounds the first week and I learned how to eat to lose the weight. There are actually foods that help you burn fat. I've lost over 20 pounds and counting.

Are you eating any sugars? Carbs are found in most foods, except protein sources: chicken, fish, beef. If you say you are eating low carbs, but are you drinking sodas, eating candy, etc. Also, how about your fat intake? Are you eating the 'good' fats and staying away from the 'bad' fats? Losing weight is not just eating a low carb diet; you have to have a stable metabolism, eat efficiently throughout the day, get adequate sleep, incorporate consistent cardio activities, etc.
I used to have the hardest time losing weight. Here's a good website I found that really helped. It gave me great diet tips and workouts and showed me what I was doing wrong before...

I had this problem for a while after I had my first child. I never could get the weight off. I also felt very tired and my hair was coming out a bit more than normal when I washed it. I finally had my thyroid tested and it was underactive. I was put on medication and after it was regulated, I was able to loose weight again. It may be worth checking into.

low carb isn't working for you - you need to try something else. try weight watchers points diet - it's very simple & it works. throw in some exercise to shift the weight - check your local gym out to see if they do Body Pump classes - these are a great way to tone up & lose weight in a 1 hour session.

It all comes down to calories in vs. calories out. Why would you cut calories (food or carbs or whatever you are cutting) out, with out knowing if you were eating the right amount to begin with? The term diet refers to what ever it is that you are eating good diet or bad diet is what ever you are eating now. So the first thing is going to be take a look at your diet: Is it enough food to support your daily activities? Is the food of good quality? Is it healthy?
I could type forever...but the truth is your body won't change unless it wants to. And it will want to if you are feeding it the right way.
