Well, I have been having pain on the left side of my big toe, whenever pressure is put on it. I have had this for about a week or so now, and the left side of my toe appears to be a little swollen and turning a bit purple. Is my toe infected? Or is this just some sort of bruise that will go away with time?

Oh yeah, and this is the toe on my left foot.

Since some people commit suicide to escape their agonising depression, does anyone feel glad that the person has finally found peace? Surely the person who committed suicide doesn't want their mental pain to spread to others.

I'm wondering if anyone's actually felt relieved for them?

I'm a 13 year old girl. I moved house last Easter, and since then have been self harming. I Have friends at school, and i do very well. But i hate myself. Whatever happens to me, i put a negative slant on it. A Teacher at school knows, and i hate her, so i told my old form tutor (who no longer works at the school, by his own choice) So i told him, and my boyfriend. The teacher at school has given up on me i think. So on boxing day, out of school, i arranged to meet this teacher (who i have aboslutely no romantic feelings about) with my bf. So i met him, and he took us in his car to his new place of work. Is that normal? Anyway, we are texting a lot, and hes started signing everything with love, and telling me how beautiful i am. Anyway, i need help to stop self harming,m anybody got any ideas? I Hate myself, and my life. The scars on my arm are starting to open up, and green stuff is coming out of them. None of my family know. Please help me?

the other day I happen to walk into the bathroom, while my ten year old son was the bath, although i wasn't embarrassed, I was a little suprised to see he had a full erection, is that quite young to start getting erections, being a single mum, I don't know much about young boys.

Is it true that you can go swimming while you have your period, without using anything...because it will stop in the water? But then when you get out it starts again?

Sometimes the spot is in a different location on the bottom of my foot. I suffer from sciatica and wondered if it was also causing this tingling spot on my foot.

I usually have fairly light periods in comparison to most women which are fairly consistent but Im a little freaked out because this time its become a bit heavy - I had to wake up in the middle of the night to change a pad because it was way overfull and thats never happened to me. Now that Im walking around and stuff it doesnt seem to be going as fast as it was for the hours I was lying down. I have been very stressed out in the couple days before/during the start of my period.

When I was very little, possibly five, I was sitting at a desk coloring in a coloring book when I moved slightly because of discomfort. When I did that one of my lower ribs made a popping sound which only hurt very slightly at that time so I thought nothing of it and continued my coloring. Well since then my lowerish ribs popped in and out of place until I hit high school where they stayed popped out of place. All between that time I complained to my pediatrician about back pain and trouble breathing. I was then told by my mom that I was a hypochondriac where as I stopped asking about it for a while because of that. It wasn't until the last time that I talked to him when I told him how I always had trouble lifting weights and doing other heavy stuff like that in school that he determined it to be ribs popped out of place. What I'm asking is if there a way to do some exercises that will pop my ribs into place and keep them in place since prof. help is impossible for me to get right now

I'm going to try to get him there today but I'm not very sure. I think he has the flu or at least the symptoms of it. He is very hoarse. His nose is running constantly. He cries all of the time. He has a hyrocele(private parts are swollen). His head is stopped up. He spits up his milk a lot. He just recently started keeping his food and milk down a few days ago. He's been sick about a week and a half now off and on. I've been giving him motrin and tylenol for fever. I've also been rubbing Baby Vick's on his feet and putting socks on which I just found out yesterday that they made a Vick's Vapor Rub just for babies. If I can't get him to the doctor today, it will be after the new year's. So I want to know is there something esle I can do for now. He is also on breathing treatments. He takes Pulmocort instead of Albuterol. I mix the Pulmocort with Xaponex(may not be correct spelling).

Thanks in advance.

yesterday was hell, i had a huge mental breakdown and now i cannot not focus on school or even getting some sleep! I was with my cousins and they were really ticking me off like they would say how perfect their life is and compare it to my dad who drinks and doesn't do sh*t but even though i don't get along wiht my dad, i hate it when people bring him up and then they said my mom was "selfish" for going to missouri to help her parents that are diagnosed with alzheimer's disease but thats dumb because she is there to help her own parents, then they start acting like smartasses and try to beat me in arguements like they know my life or something, so i completely snapped and screamed and started to cry and have a huge breakdown, i had all this stress inside me and i just let it all out. I miss my mom a lot and no one understands me and people are just pissing me off. please help or give me advice, i'm worried because i'm only 14 and already get stressed and i don't want to get worse.

I have been having a VERY painful thrush for over a month. It resulted from a very bad bladder infection I had. They put me on very strong antibiotics and they killed the good bacteria in my vagina and altered the PH levels.
I have tried everything- probiotica capsules, fluconazole, pain killers, antibiotics and though it feels much better it is not 100%. I even had swabs and tests done for STDS, diffierent types of infections and even HPV all coming back normal. I dont know what else to do, I am in excruciating pain, even my lower abdomen is sore. Can thrush be THIS annoying and last for this long? Please share ANY piece of advice. Thanks!

i was watching a cooking show and the chef was using wine in the cooking, and I was wondering whether or not a recovering alcoholic could eat it? (I'm not an alcoholic, I'm just curious)

I have what appears to be a yeast infection. I've had them before, while pregnant with my daughter. I recently finished taking a lot of antibiotics, which is another reason I thought this was what it was.
I took monistat 3 and the first day the itching and burning was far worse, then it seemed to get better. I finished treatment yesterday now I feel completely fine down there, but the discharge is still there (white) and odorless, except when I wash around the area with soap. I'm calling the ob/gyn today, but I'm wondering if it just takes awhile for the infection to clear after you finish treating it, or if there could be something else going on. Any serious opinions would be great, thanks.

My boyfriend and I have been together for about 3 years now. We've done all that stuff..

But i don't know what to do with his balls. I'm kind of scared about it because I don't know what to do. I just kind of avoid them.

I don't want to do it wrong. Should I just not go there, or what?

Please help!
