Hi my brother conducted a FBS and RBS test to know the sugar level.It found that His FBS is 105 mg /dl, which is above reference range(max 100 mg/dl) .He has also had RBS test and it was found to be 145 mg/dl,which is in reference range.But he is very upset and thinking that he is having diabetes.He is 26 yeras of age.Both of my grandparents died due to diabetes.So can any one explain what to do?

I have been in pain from a large herniated cisk in my cervical for about 2 years now due to an auto accident. I have had mris, physical therapy, accupuncture, cortizone shots,and facet blocks. All with no releif. I was sent to a neurosergeon by my spinal surgeon. He says that i dont need surgery unless i can't move my legs or if i can't control my bowels.so what do i do now? The large herniated disc is pressing on my nerve canal and is causing great pain at times. Has anyone out there experienced anything like this? HELP

Anyways, You know how you need a variety of work-outs that target the same area to get your muscles in better tone? So like does the same thing happen with vitamins?
If you don't understand me let me break it down:
Say you need Vitamin D.....

Will you get the same vitamin D distribution with Milk or Broccoli alone
OR
Will it be a better enhancement if you take some Broccoli or Some Milk?

I know that the condom reduces std's and pregnancy, yet it's only 85% effective. and the pill will prevent pregnancy. my bf does not have std's. so should i just use the pill? I'm underage, so do i need any adult to go with me or is it true that you can just go and get them. what's better the pill or the condom?

There are ways to rid the body of pain besides medicine. For example, nausea can be reduced by pressing on ones wrist and headaches can be stopped using self hypnosis/meditation. What other ways are there to relieve unwanted pain.

sometimes i can go a few days with nausea and other times it can last all day. Sometimes when Im sitting and get up I get very lightheaded and feel faint. I was on Zantac for a while. Then I went to my family dr and he prescribed medicine - this did not help. I went to a gastroentologist and he did an ultra sound of my gall bladder - it was normal. He also did an endoscopy which was normal. And no, Im not pregant - Im 65 years old. I have an appt with my gynecologist in a few months and was wondering if I should try to get an appointment sooner. Could it have anything to do with my female organs. I just wish I could find out whats the cause. Any help would b e appreciated

i just started on birth control.
but i can't remember to take it at all. i've tried setting alarms and since the first day i took it i didn't remember until, 9 at night. most of the time at nine, i'm not somewhere, where i can take a pill.
so i'm not having very good luck with it.
Now for the question,
Can I call the gyno and ask if i can switch to a chewable birthcontrol? [it would help with the timing, and the fact that sometimes, i just can't take pills no matter how small or how much water i drink.]
Or maybe ask to get the shot?
or should i wait until i have my next appiontment in three months to tell her it's not working out?
or does anyone have any advice other advice?

my eyes look like kind of like this:

except for mine have a blue ring around the outside and then inside there is green and it fades into light brown. which basically means my eyes have a circle of blue, inside that is a circle of green, and inside that is a circle of light brown. What causes this? Is this common? Is it hereditary because my mom has blue/grey eyes and my dad has hazel?

so i felt kinda weird yesterday and was hungry and all, so ate. for dinner i had tacos and a few hours later some icecream. i ate a lot, but not a whole lot. at around 3 i started feeling sick and like i had to have direah really bad but couldn't and when i finally did go it wasn't really direah, it was different and green. sorry, tmi. and now today, mostly earlier, i've been having waves of nausea on and off, like it'll hit really strong and i'll feel really sick and then it'll go away for a while and come back and all. i had my period over 30 days ago, but i don't know if this is just because of what i ate or what. i've been hungry today but when i eat i feel kinda weird. also my stomach's been gurgling and i've hada go, but like it's weird. what do you think?

has anyone who ever had a blighted ovum had sore breast that hurt to the touch. my breast hurt really bad, is this a good sign that it is not a blighted ovum, i should be six weeks four days. had vaginal ultrasound on sixth week one day and did not see anything but a sac. bleed one day with clots but have not bleed since, go back to the doctor on wensday for another scan, and to check my hcg levels

Im 15YO and I have this lymph node on my right groin thats been there for about 3 to 4 years. It is 1cm in diameter. It isnt rock hard and it isnt overly soft. It is VERY mobile. It has never hurt or anything. The thing is, you can barely even see it when I look in the mirror. In fact I never really see it unless I rock my body forwards and then, obviously, I can see it. Its sort of the same way with my left side. I have one in the exact same spot on the left. Im tall and lenky so I dont know if that has anything to do with it (6' 4" and 180 lbs.). I started lifting and working out 3 or 4 years ago (No it is not a hernia) for my college football career at UCLA. Everyone of my friends all tell me that this is definitely nothing and Im worrying over nothing. Im a HUGE hypachondriac. Please dont say go to a doctor. I dont like doctors. But anyways everyone has said this is nothing and I need to calm down and enjoy life. Are they right? I have had no symptoms of anything cancerous ever.

I'm suffering from an eating disorder, severe depression and suicidal thoughts and ideas.

My doctors have suggested going to the hospital. However my parents are saying that I don't need to go in, because I don't want to recover from my ED right now, and therefore it won't help me.

Other than the simple fact that it would keep me safe/alive, are there any perks to going to the hospital?

ok, so about 5 days ago my foot got very minorly burned in the shower.. not bad, just like, hot. so now i have like a blister/burn on one of my toes. the only problem is...IM ABOUT TO CUT MY FOOT OFF MY TOES ITCH SO BAD! its only 4 of them, and in between toe next to my pink and the niddle toe. (the burn is on the second to pinky)

I am sexually active, i have been with the same guy for a couple of months, and before that ive only had on partner(long time bf before)
I just had a pap smear with a std test about 3 months ago and everything was ok. i also recieved the birth control shot on the same day, since then i have had unprotected sex with my boyfriend ( yes i know dumb, but condomns hurt sometimes),
about a month ago my lymph noid down there was hurting really bad, then one morning i woke up with a little painless bump between the 2 areas down there, since then i have had 3 others come up, they dont hurt at all there not white filled or a anthing, its just like these weird pieces of skin that are flabby and dont hurt, i plan to go to the doctor, im just scared, its not like ive been slutting around or had numerous parters, my bf assures me he never cheated and hes been checked before, could this be anything else?
