I have had this thing for about 4 years that is slowly growing. It looks like a whitehead and is about the size of a pencil eraser. I think it might just be a pimple trapped beneath the skin so it has no place to go and keeps growing. I thought eventually it would go away on it's own but now I don't think so. It's neither hard nor soft... kind of feels like puss inside of a sack. From researching on the internet I believe it is what is called a "sebaceous cyst" but I am not sure.

My question is can I remove it by puncturing it with a (sterile) pin/needle, will it drain out like a regular whitehead pimple? Or do I need to go and get it cut open by a doctor? Lastly... will it bleed at all or a lot? Does anyone have anything that matches my description?

I know a lot of people will say "see a doctor" just because they don't want something bad to inadvertantly happen, but please be honest. I won't hold you liable for anything that happens from your advice :P.

I started with the bug last night around 730 pm... knock on wood i haven't vomited since around 3 or 4 this morning, however i still have diarrhea. I don't really want to eat anything but im looking for what things are safe to drink to keep fluids in me... fluids that wont cause vomiting please!.... I know people usually say ginger ale but that makes me want to vomit..... so far ive tried ice water... should i stay away from sugary drinks such as Gatorade and juices? Last night i tried Popsicles and they came up... however i tried one Popsicle today and its stayed down... when is it safe to try saltines and rice? (bland stuff) like i said i don't feel like eating though.

My husband is permanently disabled, so exercise, even walking is hard for him, to do. When he was first diagnosed about a year ago with diabetes, the meds were really helping- plus he took cinnamon- now he realizes that the cinnamon has been giving him headaches. For the past few weeks, his blood sugar level has not dropped below 200- any suggestions. At this time his doc will not try another med. Thanks and have a Merry Christmas, and Happy Holidays

I was told I had genital warts at the local GUM clinic, they were going to freeze them off but I got scared so decided to opt for the cream instead...

...the cream doesn't seem to be working yet, I'm worried about using it as the warts are tiny, one is right near urethra, I'm worried about the cream damaging the skin around the warts as they are too small to get it just on the warts.

Was I wrong not to get them frozen off?

I'm also getting a lot of conflicting information from people, some people say it can only be passed on if you have warts, the leaflet they gave me at the GUM clinic say that the virus can go away by itself after a few years but other places say you could have it for the rest of your life...

Does that mean whenever you have sex you are going to be passing that virus onto other people?!! (Or does it only pass on if there are actual warts?)
No where says I should abstain from sex for the rest of my life, so surely that can't be true.

Okay, well last night i was an idiot and pierced my own lip, during the piercing like..i couldnt find the hole so the needle slipped around a lil bit, my grandmother is FREAKING out because I have a bruise on the inside of my lip around the piercing site, is that normal or what????

Im starting to get a soar throat and tomorrow is Christmas Eve! I REALLY dont want to be sick for Christmas! Since this feels just like the the starting of a soar throat, is there anything i can do to prevent it from getting worse, prevent me from getting a cold (i usually get a cold after a soar throat) and maybe get rid of it completely by christmas? for example theres a white person and asian person that are 50 years old. the asian persons body looks 25 on the outside, has as much energy as someone 25 and internal organs like lungs intestines etc function like a 25 year old. when people look young on the outside does that mean their body functions like someone at age 25?
