Yes, very easily.

High blood sugar can lead to a condition called diabetic ketoacidosis, aka DKA. DKA develops more slowly than hypoglycemia (which is low blood sugar). It's often the result of illness (flu, pneumonia, other types of infection) or the result of careless diabetes control (not taking insulin, eating way too much).

Some of the giveaway signs that a person might be headed in that direction are extreme thirst, frequent urination, a fruity smell on the breath, rapid heart rate, weakness, dizziness, chest pain, difficulty breathing and a few others.

DKA is an emergency condition that mst be treated as soon as humanly possible. DKA can be stopped with proper treatment. In cases where it is not treated or not treated in time, a person can become comatose and die.

PS There is also a similar condition that affects type 2 diabetics called hyperglycemis hyperosmolar coma or HHSM.

Another PS I almost had it this morning. I started vomiting around 0230, was very nauseous, went into work anyway and ended up in the ER when my sugar kept rising (I work at a hospital). I got there in time...I was not in DKA yet and they were able to bring my sugar down with 3 liters of saline, some insulin and a dose of Zofran. My point is that I could have easily ended up in DKA and be spending the night in ICU instead of home with my family.

Yes. Very high blood sugars can lead to a condition called diabetic ketoacidoses, which can lead to a coma, respiratory arrest, and death. I've treated more than a few people with this complication of the disease, and it's a good way to get admitted to an ICU overnight.
Generally this is more likely in type I diabetics, and I would start to worry about it when the blood sugars start to creep up over the 400-500 range (though the disease isn't really about the sugar per-se, it's about the things that your body turn it into which can make the blood very acidic).
If treated promptly, most people recover quickly and without permanant damage, but it can be deadly.

I am writing to tell you what an incredible impact these methods had on my life! I have had type 2 diabetes for 27 years. For me, the worst part of this horrible disease is the severe pain I constantly get in my feet. The pain is so bad that I avoid standing and walking as much as possible. I've got to tell you that within the first month, my feet stopped hurting altogether and I can now walk totally pain free.

Believe it or not, I even danced at my niece's wedding last month, something I have not done in a many years. I've been following the book for six months now and my blood sugar is well within normal range. I feel great!

I recommend you use the Type 2 Diabetes Destroyer to naturally reverse your diabetes.

I am not sure if you can die - I would imagine it's possible because the body is unable to bring the level of blood sugar down to where it can be managed. I do know that you can go into a diabetic coma, and if left to itself, I think you would eventually die.

Test your blood sugar as often as necessary - if you're not sure how or how often to check, consult your doctor. Also, see if you can consult a dietician about what foods you can & cannot eat. Your diet, along with your medications will help keep your blood sugar under control.

Absolutely. Just out of the blue I started getting weak and dizzy. I kept trying to self diagnose and not once did I think of diabetes, finally I fainted. I had ketoacidosis and went into a coma. I was in intensive care for three days. I didn't know I was diabetic. I thank the doctors and nurses who saved my life. My blood glucose level was 375.

As far as I know, yes you can go into a coma and die from very high blood sugar if it is left untreated. If in doubt, go to a doctor or ER or fire station to get your level checked out.
