any pressure on my eyeballs does tend to leave my vision blurry for a short time, but since getting up this morning it seems to be taking a bit longer for my vision to return to normal. Anyone know the cause of this?

If you slept the whole time with your arm across your eyes, it will take longer than usual because your eyes had become accustomed to the pressure. Normally, it only adjusts temporarily, because it was only for a short time.

That's probably why.
