sometimes i can go a few days with nausea and other times it can last all day. Sometimes when Im sitting and get up I get very lightheaded and feel faint. I was on Zantac for a while. Then I went to my family dr and he prescribed medicine - this did not help. I went to a gastroentologist and he did an ultra sound of my gall bladder - it was normal. He also did an endoscopy which was normal. And no, Im not pregant - Im 65 years old. I have an appt with my gynecologist in a few months and was wondering if I should try to get an appointment sooner. Could it have anything to do with my female organs. I just wish I could find out whats the cause. Any help would b e appreciated

At 65yrs old & with lightheadedness when you stand this sounds like your blood pressure to me.
Probably to low from the sounds of it,, I am 28 & have low blood pressure & suffer from nausea followed by lightheadedness & occasionally fainting.

You can take you blood pressure at home & see if it is coming up low,, if you take it at the office it probably is going to come up higher then regular. Or you can have your dr do a tilt table test. If you do think it might be low pressure,, eat a bit more salt drink some more fluids.
If it's severe enough,, mine is sometimes you might be prescribed florinef.

Good luck to you.

I had a nausea problem like this and it happened shortly after I had a bad cold/bronchitis. I was not on any medication and I kept feeling like I was going to pass out, went to the hospital as my heart rate was erratic as well.

I was 38 yrs old and they attributed it to stress as they did not know what it was. They did an ultrasound of my galllbladder as well and it was normal. After I left the hospital, I went completely deaf in both ears for about an hour or so.

Very scary, went to another MD who adv I had a bad ear infection and that's why I was having the dizziness and nausea. The doctor adv it affected my body's electrical system, thus the rapid heartbeat.

Go to another doctor or 2 or 3 as each one will have their own diagnosis and meanwhile you're nauseated, such a terrible feeling. I know how you must feel and hope you will find an MD who will find out what is wrong.

Wow, there's a ton of different things that could cause nausea. It's not the typical symptom for anything related to the reproductive system. Have you had a colonoscopy recently? What about an abdominal cat scan or MRI?

That could be mild symptoms of Anxiety, it does cause those things you mentioned and then you'd need sedatives to take form time to time, or try an herbal remedy for now, Chamomille tea, Valerian (liquid drops), etc.
