ok i am 13 and i am freakin out i just today during school started my proiod and i dont know how to tell my mom, it hurts sooooooooo bad and i bawl my eyes out everytime i go to the bathroom pleeeeze help me i dont know how to tell my mom !!!!

I am 28 years old and 80lbs over weight (I am working on my weight, I have lost 32lbs to date). I exercise 5days a week... could this cause it? I am also on Fruta Vida Juice.... I took a lot of it yesterday...could this be the cause(it could be just a coincidence)? Please tell me what you think... thanks.

For a week now I have suffered severe leg pain in both legs especially at night.It is so painful it hurts to walk.My hubby was just laid off therefore we lost our med insurs,and I`m trying to avoid the doc if at all possible,any ideas?

Everytime I drink soda I feel bloated and my stomach swell. Why does that happen? Should I go see a doctor about that, or just stop drinking soda all together.

should i be concern.
my left arm has felt like a turnacit has been tied around it for about 2 weeks. i thought it was a knott in my upper back. but i noticed today that my left side collarbone area is swollen and theirs a olive size lump their that appears to be appling pressure on a pressure point. explains the discomfort in the left arm. also have been checking blood pressure regulary avg. is 145 over 95. also my mother died of lung cancer and older brother had testicular cancer he survived

ok.. in high school i weighed about 155 pounds and was skinny played baseball was in good shape and i had no problem with my face at all...by my freshman year of college i weighed 165 a little chubby but not really i gained a little muscle as well.. im about 5'11 or 6 even by the way...anyways in the past two years ive went from 165 up to 205 basically no muscle gain... and ive said thats enough and am back down to 198 and have made a lifestyle change with diet and exercise... my question is over the past couple of years my eyes have started to look sunken in and have a dark ring under and a little on the side like im always tired.. i think its a combo of my weight gain and not enough sleep.. have i caused a permanent change to my face or can i change it by getting back into shape and getting adequate sleep on a consistent basis... does anyone know this answer to this? sorry for being so long winded

ok, so i have pretty nice teeth......except for one tooth! its an "eye tooth" and its on the left side of my mouth. the tooth is sticking inward and is behind my other teeth on either side of it. when you look at me from the left or straight on when i smile or even talk it looks like im missing a tooth. AND I CANT STAND IT!!!!! im all about how your teeth look, its a very important thing to me. my dentist, instead of putting braces on me, wants to pull the tooth out and fill it with bonding. he said that the bonding will harden and will stay in place and look like a real tooth. im not too sure about going through with this opperation though. Im a junior in highschool and i dont want to mess up my teeth before college. i dont know what to do. this will be a quick fix, but is it worth it? and will it look like a real tooth and stay that way for a very long time? it is a perminant tooth so its kinda a BIG deal. advice?

About a week ago, I went in to urgent care because I thought I might have had a bladder infection (which I did), and to check up on a sore that had appeared in my genital region a couple of days prior to going in.

They swabbed the sore and just called me back saying I have herpes.

What I am confused about is the fact that I have only had sex with one person in my entire life. We've been dating for about 2.5 years, and were both virgins. I KNOW that he has never cheated on me, and I have never cheated on him.

So, if we have been in a monogomous relationship, how could I have gotten herpes?

The doctor (or nurse?) who talked to me said it was a possibility that I could have gotten it from a toilet seat... But from what I have read, that is VERY unlikely.

The only other thing that would make sense is if either of us had cold sores ever, but I don't think I have.

Is it possible I was misdiagnosed?

Started with yeast infections and then I found out I had BV took some pills for it. Been to the doctor many times, even had them check me for STDs. The signs keep coming back. There can be alot of sharp shooting pains during sex in my ovary area. Then the other night after sex there was this thick white stuff on my bf's penis. Then the next day (sorry this sounds gross) I kinda felt up there and there was more of it. My doctor keeps sayin there is nothin wrong w me but......any ideas

I'm 5'7 and 125 pounds, i know this doesnt sound too awful but i have a very small frame and therefore look SO FAT!! i don't know what to do to lose weight i feel totally hideous! I am currently living with my aunt's family, my aunt being a fully qualified homeopath, and my aunt has decided to treat me. This seemed like an ok idea until a few days ago when she announced that I had been the subject of debate among her and several other homeopaths (whom I have never met) and that given my symptoms they have decided on the right remedy for me. Again this did not cause any problems but when I asked what the remedy was and what my symptoms are she refused to tell me, to which I replied that I would not take anything unless I knew what was in it and why I was taking it (considering I'm vegan this seems reasonable enough and she has not known me for long so it seems odd that she can diagnose me without really knowing me). When I told her this she informed me that it makes no difference, this remedy is apparently one of only two that they are allowed to give to a patient without the patients consent.

So please tell me what this remedy is and what's "wrong" with me

My husband, 32 years old, had been suffering with right knee pain and instability for almost 3 months now. Although we have an appointment with the doctor want to know what he would suggest. His MRI report reads as following:
* Menisci: A large tear is seen involving the posterior horn and body of the medial meniscus. A .5cm meniscus cyst is also seen. The lateral meniscus is intact.
*Bony structure and articular cartilage: Minimal edema is seen involving the most medial aspect and medial compartment. No fractures are seen.
*Joint space: Moderate joint effusion is present.
*Soft tissue:: Unremarkable.
We got the MRI done when he was unable to walk for a day and there was swelling around the knee. Although now the swelling is not there and the pain lessened considerably , but if he walks fast the pain resumes.Is it possible for him to travel (a 20 hr flight) in this condition? Would surgery be necessary? Thanks
