There can be alot of sharp shooting pains during sex in my ovary area. Then the other night after sex there was this thick white stuff on my bf's penis. Then the next day (sorry this sounds gross) I kinda felt up there and there was more of it. My doctor keeps sayin there is nothin wrong w me but......any ideas

you might have yeast overgrowth in your body which gives you yeast infections in vagina.
Get from health food store yeast killer (candida cleanse), eliminate all the foods that candida feeds of - wheat products (bread, pasta), sweet fruit, candy, walnuts etc. for a while.

First I would get your doc to check whether they are actually yeast infections.

Yeast infections are not actually infections per se, they are an overgrowth of the bacteria in that area due to something that has caused it to come out of balance. This can be something as simple as using too harsh a soap in that area, or wearing nylon knickers.

It is interesting to me that you mention ovarian pain - I had the pleasure (!) of having a cyst there a few years ago and did got a lot of thick discharge at the time. The cyst wasn't too much of a problem - needed a small operation to remove it. Maybe you should mention the ovarian pain specifically to your doc.

Best of luck xx

get some monistat cream at the drug store, for you and for your boyfriend, it sounds like he is re-infecting you. Yeast doesn't affect men the way it does women so he probably has no symptoms but is still carrying the yeast which re-infects you every time you have intercourse. You apply the cream vaginally, he needs to apply the cream topically to his penis and scrotum, and it needs to be done daily, for seven days.. lower abdominal pain would indicate a potential for pelvic inflammatory disease, if you continue to have pain with intercourse, then see a gynecologist for treatment.

its normal but if you are sexually active you may just have yeast infections all the time and if the boyfriend is not bein treated for them with you then hes just giving them back to you every time you have sex. your doc should give you something for the both of you i guess you just have to ask for it.
