Not only does milk provide vitamins and calcium, it also is the best energy drink in existence!
It prevents dehydration 10 times better then for example Gatorade and other sports-drinks..
Besides, it's a natural thing to us.. Babies (humans and a lot of animals) all drink milk at birth... Must be for a reason ;o)

Milk is designed for a calf, not a person. It does have calcium in it, but only a small amount compared to other foods. It also has links to prostate, breast and cervical cancers. It is designed so a calf can double its weight in 1 week. The drinking of cow's milk in itself is weird let alone into adulthood.

Milk is one of the best natural sources of calcium. During childhood and adolescence, our bones are growing and need to be built strong. By the time we are 17, our bones would have stocked upto over 90% of the calcium they will ever contain.

contains a healthy dose of this vitamin A. Milk contains proteins that our body needs for its growth. It is one of nature’s richest sources of protein.

Because it's an excellent source of protein but having too much is bad because it still has a lot of calories (over 100 calories per cup depends on brand of it)
