My doc wants $50 for a special "contact exam" which my insurance won't pay for and money's a little tight right now.

Hello I have a 11 year old stepdaughter who needs bladder augmentation My husband has put this off for many years in hope some thing better will come along. We had a small light of hope with synthetic bladder but the news the doctor had was not good and our light went out. I tried to contact this TENGION that can clone you a bladder from your own bladder cells. But they turned us down. My husband is not to comfortable with the first option, but as she is getting older and going through more and more depends every day it is taking it toll on our family budget. Also she has started middle school and is getting picked on some. So she says. Any advice? Thank you

i had my belly pierced a week ago, it was perfectly fine until yesterday. I woke up with a huge red mark covering most of my lower belly and it itches, there is yellow puss comin out when it touch it, a lump round where it is pierced and to make matters worse, it looks as though my belly is sukin it in as the tops pushing down on my belly and when i lift it there is a dent like the circle of the ring, what do i do?? i dont want to take it out!

I'm really self conscience with the way I look, And constantly I look in the mirror and can't stand how fat I look.
I feel like I have The biggest stomach, especially after I eat.
I am 5"4, 15 years old, Female, And 86 pounds, I never got my period, and I am a size 32A in bras, and a size 0 in clothing. I try to eat only healthy, No soda, No Junk food, or Fast food, Fruits and Veggies, Lots of water, organic things,And I exercise at least 4 days a week, for about an hour. i am almost always cold, and shivery, and shaky, and dizzy.
On a daily basis I eat about 500-700 calories a day. I feel like I should be eating less. SOmetimes I make up excuses for not eating.
I really think I'm huge, please don't take this question as a joke.
Is this anorexia? Am I fat? Am I starving myself?

Her legs have now lots of red pox type marks on them. I took her to the doc and she was given antibotics. She embrassed to go bare leged. I have tried various vitamins creams to fade the scars. She has lots of faded scars on her feet. She has also some ecexma as well. What can I do to help her as she does get itchy at times as well.

I got mine 2 days bak, i dont feel tired, or drained out thou on the first day it was difficult. My skin looks shiny, dark and dull... looks like i have been out in the sun, when i actually havent,
i use herbal products from lush - herbalism, mask of magnamity( bought this mask for the first time y'day, so just used it y'day, never before), fresh farmacy, for a few months now but i dont know why suddenly i look so yucky...
Please help me... i dont know if i used to look like this earlier, never noticed to be frank...

Ok so I just asked the question about missing birth control. I was supposed to start the active pills on Sunday but had no way to get to the pharmacy to pick them up, so I can get them later today, what should I do since I will have already missed Sunday and Monday. Should I just skip the month of December and start back up in January? If I did that would there be any side affects like more of a chance to get blood clots or anything? Sorry to ask so many questions but i could really use the help. Thanks!

ive been working out daily and eating around 1400 calories a day for about a month now. the scale says ive lost 8 pounds but to me i dont look a whole lot different. how can i tell if its just water weight? i keep myself VERY hydrated so im leaning towards it being real weight loss but why dont i look very different?

I went to the hospital & they dont know what it is. It feels like someone is standing on my stomach. My back hurts too & i have no energy (except when it comes to sex). I thought i might be pregnant & have done test after test but all negative.
The only help the doctors gave me was "Try not to stress so much!" Which made me worse! Anyone know what it could be or what to do to make it not hurt so much???

My hair have been gradually turning grey since I was 16. I would say now about 20% of my hair, particularly on my right side are grey. Recently my doctor also found that I have an enlarged nodule on my thyroid. This nodule is slightly hyperactive (I am not losing any weight) but other than that my thyroid is under control and I am not taking any meds.
I have been coloring/highlighting my hair except for the past 9 mos. I have been letting them grow naturally.
I have noticed that some of my hair are banded (dark pigment banded with much lighter/greying pigment) Kinda like cat's hair.
I also found a couple of hairs that are grey at the tips!!! not the roots. The roots are black.In fact, most of those hairs are black except the tips.
Now I am not sure if some of my grey hair are turning black again, or are they greying at tips instead of roots???
I had much stress last year but I am much better now. Again, I am taking no meds of any kind.
Any clues?
