Hello I have a 11 year old stepdaughter who needs bladder augmentation My husband has put this off for many years in hope some thing better will come along. We had a small light of hope with synthetic bladder but the news the doctor had was not good and our light went out. I tried to contact this TENGION that can clone you a bladder from your own bladder cells. But they turned us down. My husband is not to comfortable with the first option, but as she is getting older and going through more and more depends every day it is taking it toll on our family budget. Also she has started middle school and is getting picked on some. So she says. Any advice? Thank you

I would recommend getting another opinion. Check to see if there are Medical Schools close by to you that may be doing addition research on the condition your stepdaughter has to see what other treatments might be available.
