I am on my 6th day of taking birth control, and the package says it is fully effective after 7.

However, I have heard so many different things, i have heard it takes a full cycle, and some people are saying 2-3 full months.

How long before it is ACTUALLY effective?

Ps- we're still going to use a condom but i don't wanna have sex till the bc is also in effect, because, accidents do happen.

I have been in a bad relationship with violence and also have been suicidal. I wanted to get counselling but I am scared if I tell them how messed up I am they will take away my baby. to be completely honest though I do not know if I am a danger to her but I do not want her to go into care or something.

My prescription is
Right: -2.25SPH +2.00CYL 92.5AXIS
Left: -2.00SPH +1.75 CYL 85.0AXIS

My b/f's is:
Right: -1.50SPH -1.00CYL 60.00AXIS
Left: -1.75SPH -1.00CYL 90.00AXIS

I assume from the prescriptions that I do have the worst eye sight of us both. But have found that weird because he wears glasses almost all of the time because he feels blind without them and I do without glasses most of the time (except from driving obviously!). And also when we both try to read from a distance I tend to be able to read things when he cant.

Can someone please confirm which of us has the worst eyesight?

Thanks

I have problems with my knees popping out of place or locking up the doctors says it cartilage and i need to go through water thearpy. I go to the dentist and he puts my jaw back into place because its dislocated all the time. He says its because of my cartilage. And then the day before Thanksgiving I was having real bad chest pains I thought I was having a heart attack. The doctor said it was due to the cartilage that attaches the ribs to the breast bone separating. Now I can't do anything for two weeks until I heal. Why can't the doctors put all this together and give me a reason or even a cure to fix the problem. I have lost jobs and sometimes can't even get up to take care of my family because of this. Is there a special doctor that I can see for this problem? I just want to be able to do things with my kids instead of them taking care of me. Im 35 years old and my kids are ages 11, 10, and 7. They need me and I can't be there for them.

A 'friend' told me I should limit the time I spend with my fiance because if I spend too much time with him, he'll think he can cheat on me and I'll forgive him. She says that's how men think. I think it sounds like hog wash.
From a guy perspective, what do you think?

I had a bad allergic reaction to diclofenac in the summer. Itching, flushing, red eyes, hoarseness, wheezing, feeling faint. I took a piriton immediately and my mother phoned an ambulance. I was given oxygen (I was blue lipped apparently) by the paramedics and taken to hospital. However I was recovering quite quickly by then so after some basic health checks was sent home.
My GP just said to avoid diclofenac in the future, nothing else. What I wondered was, did I have anaphylaxis or just an allergic reaction? When is an allergic reaction classed as anaphylaxis?

I need to buy some really strong ear plugs or ear protection/noise reduction of some kind. I have tried the wax ones, Ohropax, supposed to be good, but they did close to nothing for me plus they were messy. I am now wearing some foam ones with SNR 37 and they are also far from satisfying my needs. I've browsed about a bit and it seems the highest protection widely available is SNR 39. That doesn't seem like much of an improvement to me. Please, please tell me there's better out there (and where to find it)! Thank you.
