tired. Some may feel more tired and some may feel less exhausted. So what makes us tired/sometimes drowsy even if we are not doing much physical work/activity ? Is it because mental activity is making our brain tired ??

Ok, so i've decided that at 26 i should probably go for a basic check at a GUM clinic. I have no reason to believe there is anything wrong, just for peace of mind really. The thing is i keep putting it off just as i don't really know what happens. I have now made an appointment but just wonder if someone can give me the lowdown on what tests they do and how, so i'm prepared

My Bf is only 18 and will be migrating soon to California, the saddest news is he will be donating his kidney to his mom. at first i agree but what if he will suffered a lot on the operation, what if he will not make it?or what if his other kidney will be infected 10 years from now, i dont want to donate my kidney for him. im scared for him because he is too young. and i dont think my thoughts would change his mind....what do u think

Just wondering how did it form and where did the hiv/aids virus orginally come from. I heard the story about this man screwing an infected monkey. but i dont know how true that is. Personally i think the government has something to do with inventing the virus and was only meant to wipe out the african american race. Any opinions?????

I am 18 and I just had my first annual exam at my Mom's doctor. When I went in they had me change into a gown and checked my breasts and it was ok, but then she said now it's time for the pelvic and the next bit was just awful!!. I had to lie down and they lifted my feet up and spread my legs open. They even put my ankles in things at the end of the couch to hold my legs apart . She put her fingers inside me and I could not see what she did because of a drape but it felt like she put a needle in me. I have never had this exam before, I hated having my legs held up like that. Do they do this every year? I have not had any problems down there and was not expecting an intimate exam.

well i miscarried 3 weeks & 5 days ago and stopped gettin a positive on a pregnancy test just 10 days after. also i done a ouvtlation test on day 12 and i had 2 lines so i take it i was ovutlating. and started to try again which felt right. anyways i have my xmas work nite out on the 1st Dec which is next sat....
i have 2 options....

1) to go to the doctors this monday which would be only 4 weeks from miscarring and only 2 weeks from ovutlation and get a blood test to c if i'm pregnant or no then ill no if i can drink on ma works nite out.

2) wait til 6 weeks from my miscarriage and 4 weeks from ovulation and test then and not drink at my works nite out

And somehow i lost 5 kgs in the last week, which was of course unintended!

My mum is 58 and went for routine breast screening where something showed up. She went for various tests then we were told it is breast cancer. She is having an operation at 11.30 this morning to remove the cancer in her breast using the guidewire procedure and also having lymph nodes under her arm removed. We know she'll be having radiotherapy at some point. Other than that that's all we know. Does it sound like the prognosis is good? What can we expect next by way of treatment and how my mum will be physically?

I am 27 and admittedly i am overweight and for the past two weeks i have been feeling really rough my symptoms are headaches, feeling sick and a general feeling of being completely out of it. I was recently diagnosed with having a herniated stomach and gallbladder problems and it has been recommend that i have my gallbladder removed. I have been under a great deal of stress recently and i am in a job that is not keeping my mind occupied and that i find rather boring. I also have a low progesterone level and desperately want to start a family with my partner but i think that i should get my weight and health under control first. Up until about 6 years ago i was a healthy size 10 but now i have gone up to a 18/20 for no apparent reason - could this be the hormone in balance? I am really struggling to get everything back under control and my doctor is not very pro active with these things - any help would be greatly appreciated as this is really getting me down.

I have a very very high libido and am planning to discontinue masturbating, since it is taking up a lot of my time (i am a masturbation-addict). however, if i don't even masturbate for a single day, i cannot concentrate in my work. is the lack of concentration due to stopping of masturbation or am i only having psychology that "stopping masturbation" is causing the problem???
Pls dont advice me to masturbate even "once"...... masturbating once does not satisfy me at all.... it is "null & void" to masturbate only once.....
Pls help... what should i do to control my libido????

A few days ago, I started having pain when urinating and wiping. It was very itchy and the sides would bleed when I used T.P. to scratch it. Yesterday, it started not only hurting a lot when I wipe, but my clitoris started hurting a lot and throbbing after I used the restroom. I've had yeast infections before, and one bladder infection, but nothing like this. I've been taking Pearls, but it's not helping. Going to try Cranberry, but may end up getting to the doctor. If anybody has had this before please let me know...it sucks!

I am absolutly over my daughters and myself getting head lice. The treatments i buy are so expensive. I wash the sheets,brushes etc and even re-treat the hair a week or so later but it seems the little bugga's become amune.

I'm not uncircumcised but somehow my foreskin retracts from my glans. Sometimes it covers only one third of the glans and sometimes it doesn't cover at all. This makes me really uncomfortable although it has been years...I don't remember when exactly my foreskin got back (5th or 6th grade? Not sure) but I'm sure when I was in the 3rd grade my foreskin still covers all my glans (I couldn't see my glans if foreskin's not pulled back). My glans is still very sensitive now. It itches a lot when contact with clothing especially when I wear boxers. Does any one have the same situation? How to solve this problem? Is there any way to make my foreskin longer cover the whole glans spontaneously again? This really bothers me a lot… Thanks a lot!

I get random drug tests for pain doctor and I was tested Monday when I picked up one of my scripts.
I have to pick up my other script next Monday cuz I run out of one med a week after the other which means 2 trips to the office every month. I'm going to ask for only 1 week supply of the one I pick up next Monday so I can start picking them up together and save myself a trip....... my question is:
What are the chances of being tested 2 weeks in a row?
FYI - all my other tests over the last year or so have been fine.... nothing in me except what meds I'm suppossed to take.
I don't drink booze often except maybe 1x a year but.....I have a wedding to attend Sunday and I want to skip my meds for 1 day so I have a few drinks and enjoy myself with family and friends. I don't want to be tested and have booze in me if I can avoid it. If there is even a chance they would test me again I won't drink so..... is it unlikely & rare that someone is tested 2 weeks in a row.. 7 days later?
