cartlidge operation?

i had a cartlidge operation on my knee, after the op i had a hole on either side of my knee, my question is, why didn't my leg fill up with water when i had a bath

Yes two holes. One for the camera, one for the tool, but both instruments rather small, so while the exterior holes look big, the interior holes are small.

because it was healing inside obviously
